Good album Cheers Tony It is. To Whom It May Concern, is my fave track off the album, although i think Venus should have been added to the end of it rather than be its own seperate track, especially since its a reprise really.

How does Antarctica compare to his earlier stuff? I like it best of his albums. It was done as the soundtrack for a Japanese film, and so maintains a style through the entire album, instead of simply being a collection of varied pieces. I find the album relaxing, and have often put it on in the background when reading or working. Finally bought this at the weekend. Not as strong as Albedo or Spiral, but as you say a coherent whole for ambient sound. Have you heard the Blade Runner soundtrack? I keep meaning to get that as well

I got my new sound system yesterday so I went to town putting it through its paces. Listened to Solti conducting Mahler 2, Terence Blanchard's Jazz in Film, La Mer by Debussey conducted by Karajan, some late string quartets by Beethoven, Eels at Royal Albert Hall. So far, so good.
