Never can there be enough metal! Even though KISS, Aersomith and Bon Jovi are hard rock Listened to the latest Deicide album last night. After 30+ years of br00tal death metal they are still rockin' n rollin' nicely

Heavy Metal, Hard Rock. I certainly don't hate either of them, but my tastes of them are kind of rarified. For whatever reason, I like electric shredding. (and I'm rather huge fan of multi-genre guitarist Al Di Meola, who I don't know if I agree with when people make him some kind of godfather of shred, regardless, "Race with Devil on Spanish Highway" is one of the best hard edged jazz-rock fusions ever!)
Not many people in the USA are fans of the band "Babe Ruth" which ranged all across the board from light acoustic, to very hard electric, and I liked it all (on the harder side, Wells Fargo and Tomorrow: Joining of the Day kick ass!).
Now, as someone who just claimed listening to John Denver's first album, it may come as no surprise that I spent 20 years of my life in Colorado, and a "local" old-school shred-metal band existed there, but they had no local presence, being mostly known across the pond. I may not remember how I became aware of Jag Panzer, but I became a fan. Actually, I think it might have been their acoustic/shred-metal blend cover of Gordon Lightfoot's "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" that caught my attention. But their shred-metal-rock-opera take on Shakespeare's Macbeth I found to be a cracking effort. I own a few others of their releases, but again, I have to be in the right mindset to listen to them.

All done in the same sessions all professionally mixed and mastered.. Yeah Body and Soul is a great song. The first version of In Your Face i think is better than the Bonus track version. Some of those tracks just have more groove and would have help make a much better album
