It's funny but if any company realised how dedicated BF listeners are they could remake just about any show BF has a licence for and get 5 series with their eyes closed.
I have watched 70+ episodes of Dark Shadows and will eventually be watching Blake's, continuing with Survivors all after finishing my umpteenth rewatch of Torchwood. Just got series 5 in the post.
But seriously, if any company worked with Big Finish for a remake of any of their properties they could make a lot of money. They could coordinate a full cast prequel ahead of the pilot and bundle it with the Liberator Chronicles series 1.
I think people don't realise that Audio plays were doing what streaming is now. Full Artistic control without sacrifice for perceived audience numbers.
Thanks for all the advice. A lot of Blake's 7 is available to me for very little cost so I was curious how things worked.
Warship was an utterly confusing mess for me. I was so lost but the performances were excellent and I love Jacqui Pierce. I'll listen to it again after series a and b!

Hey, I started this thread nearly a year ago as I was interested in watching the series. I asked should I watch the series and listen to the audios at the same time. I was advised that I should watch series A and B and then listen to ‘Warship’, then watch the last two series and then listen to the audios in the order they were released in. If you are interested in viewing the series this is how I recommend you go through the series. Blake’s 7 is a series which you definitely need to have watched a bit of in order to understand what is fully going on and why the characters do what they do - ‘’Warship’ is a good example of this as a lot of what happens in it is to tie into what we see in the opening episodes of the third series. If your interested I would watch the whole series in order from the beginning because not only is it a great series with only a (in my opinion) few dud episodes. The audios are even better, some the best Big Finish have ever done Hope this helps

Since I hadn't heard any of the audios and couldn't remember any of the televised stories, I took advantage of the opportunity to go through both TV episodes and audios in as strict a timeline order as possible when I started up with the series a year or so ago. That might not have been completely necessary, but I think it probably worked the best for me.

Ideally the only audio you SHOULD listen to while watching is, IMO, Warship. Just slot that in between Series B and C. Then finish watching the show, then come back and listen. You may as well start at the start with the Liberator Chronicles if you're picking that route, and then go for the full cast option, especially as one or two bits of continuity start in the LCs and end up in the full cast. Hmm. Sounds familiar.
