So do we know who these three “new” writers are? I think one of them may be Paul Magrs just based on what the anthology is. I've got a hunch it's all Nev Fountain considering he is credited.

New writers and a script by Nev Fountain, count me in! If you shorten all their first names, then those new writers start to look a bit suspicious... Ha! Excellent.

That would also be my guess. But that is awesome, I love his writing and we desperately needed more Sixie stories from him.

Someone on Twitter mentioned that it looks like they're using a body double for Colin to get more new shots for covers. What do you think? That pose does look different...

I like it.

Looking at the cover artwork and listening to the trailer of Blood on Santa's Claw... simply beautiful!

I really enjoy Magrs' Doctor Who work, maybe it was just a one story he proposed they didn't want situation?

Ha! It definitely is - he's (they're?) wearing the same waistcoat. Good eye, someone on Facebook!

Al, Sue, Andy? What am I missing? Now attach those forenames to their surnames. Try saying them out loud. Oh lol! I got there eventually... {Spoiler}Alter-ego, pseudonym, alias very good. (Couldn't make anything out of 'Nev Fountain' though...?? )
After that yes I'd certainly agree with the idea that all four stories are by one particular author and if that's the spirit of the release then I think we're in for a fun ride!

Looking at the cover artwork and listening to the trailer of Blood on Santa's Claw... simply beautiful! It looks like this is going to be a fun release. Certainly very tongue in cheek and with the names of the authors of the 4 stories being anagrams/puns - it suggests that this one is light hearted. Whether it will be as good as Time in Office or The One Doctor, remains to be seen. I hope this revives the tradition of BF doing a more 'festive' release. Seemed to stop after Bang, Bang a Boom (although sadly, I never enjoyed that one) - always found it rather dull/dry - the only BF release I've fallen asleep through (twice!). Overall, this could be a great run for the MR - June's Memories of a Tyrant to December's Blood on Santa's Claw could be a very strong end to the year. Hope it continues into 2020. BF either have a great start (as was the case in 2018, which fades) or a great end (as was the case this year). If McCoy had 6 releases in 2018, Davison has had 6 releases this year, then surely we are due 6 releases for Sixie in 2020? Sounds promising - could we get the Constance/Flip cliffhanger solved at last (here's also hoping that we don't have to wait as long with the outcome of Conversion as well).

It could go either way, as Five and Six had 4 releases in 2018, while Seven had 5. And then this year Seven has had 3, Six has had 4 and Five has had 6. A second Sixth Doctor trilogy would be amazing but at the same time I’d be content with just the one trilogy (hopefully with Flip and Constance) and then the Sixth Doctor boxset. I kinda want two Fifth Doctor trilogies again, one that has Five solo and one that has him return to his companions following Conversion.

BF just gave a hint that some parts of Santa's Claw are on the Scary side so Parents might want to proof listen before a Family listen

His relationship with BF seems to go through ups and downs. He was supposedly hurt when Nick said in the podcast or a Vortex editorial or somewhere that he didn't lie Boy the Time Forgot. At another time he posted on the old BF forum that there would be no more Iris at BF and it sounded fairly final, but then a year or two later we got more Iris from BF and we have since had other non-Iris scripts form him.
Strikes me as perhaps a little highly strung.

Truly most bizarre considering ‘Muse of Fire’ was released only less than a year ago.

'Muse' is in my 'pre-Christmas favourites' listening list right now waiting for December. An instant classic imo, I loved it.
