The podcast confirms that Quantum Possibility Engine also brings back Dogbolter, a character played by Toby Longworth and who originated in the Doctor Who Magazine comic strips.

I can safely say that at no point last year did I think "you know, I bet there will be a Seven-Mel-Ace-Narvin-Dogbolter story next year." I'm looking forward to finding out what the heck this is.

It's been a long time since we've had three separate releases in one year with Narvin. Gallifrey Time War and Erasure earlier this year, and this.

I don't know the comic strips, but I'm presuming this is the same Dogbolter who Longworth played in The Maltese Penguin, since that also starred a comic strip character...?

We had four 5th Doctor stories in a row and we're about to have five 7th Doctor stories in a row.
I am glad that they don't feel beholden to the trilogy format, but five seems like a lot.
But also, Hex 😁

Last year, DWM gave Dogbolter a daughter with an Ivanka-esque name and now Big Finish makes him the president of the solar system...

notthebigfinishforum.freeforums.net/thread/4587/main-range-quantum-possibility-engine (thread has been deleted!)
Which means we're still waiting for: 244: Warlock's Cross - Synopsis, cover, trailer (debuted on the podcast), full cast list 245: Muse of Fire - Cover, trailer, full cast list All details for 246, the second December release. It'll probably be a Sixth Doctor release, since Colin's only got three this year (Five has four, while Seven has five).
And I had something to say about Quantum Possibility Engine!

You've been asked before not to post placeholder thread so far in advance. Other forum members have made complaints about it.

And I had something to say about Quantum Possibility Engine! I'm sure #246 will be a Seventh Doctor release as well, it would make no sense otherwise. It wouldn't be unprecedented, in 2014 there were seven Sixth Doctor releases and only three each for the other two.

Why would you be sure that would happen and why would it not make sense otherwise?

Cool. I was feeling a bit discombobulated after the push for the new logo on things (And no, there was no other reason to use 'discombobulated' other than the fact that it's a cool word I don't get to use very often )

I'm not a massive fan of the McCoy logo, but I'm surprised how well it works with these new, 'wider' covers. Some lovely images there.

It's a very nostalgic logo for me - it was the logo when I got into Doctor Who, on all my books and my Dapol figures. One reason the "why is Jodie's logo on all the merch?" thing goes over my head - my K9 figure and a good few of my Hartnell and Troughton Targets had the McCoy logo on them and it didn't keep me up at night.

Doctor Who logos become personal things to people - me included. It's strange, but warming! Mine would, I think, be the 'neon' logo - but like you say, I have no problem with Jodie's logo being all-encompassing.
