It's fantastic but a very Glasgwegian sense of dramedy and language. I'm not sure how it'll work for others but it's a true classic in the West of Scotland at least.

When you say mature, I think it's best to add it's not adult - the play and the film are pretty family friendly (the DVD is a PG) and while there's a bit of a musical routine, no-one who's opposed to musicals should be put off - it's mostly straight play. The TV broadcast, the one shown every Hogmanay in Scotland, is on Youtube for the curious. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEi9EL4FNY0

A sci-fi thriller/horror set in a Glasgow laundrette. The head washer lady is actually from the Planet Vlarg and believes it is the perfect setting to launch her take over of the known universe.

If it was £5 for the download I'd give it a go, but at £12.99, nope.
Also if this is a recording of a theatrical play will some of the story/action/plot be confusing if you cannot see what is happening, or will they be adapting the play for audio and recording it in a studio? From reading the news article, I couldn't work it out.

It does say on the Product page its a live recording so if front of an audience would seem likely,

Never heard of this one, guessing it likely isn't something that has been done here in Canada before.
Can't say it interests me in the slightest.
