If he did, he'd probably make Clara his mother so I hope he doesn't go there.
Cheers

I don't see what's wrong with the 'half human' line anyway. If you don't like it, just treat it as a throwaway joke.

The fact that the Doctor is a hybrid of the two greatest warrior races in the universe, (pending adjudication of the time war) seems to emphasise what bunk the hybrid foreshadowing is.

Hmmm... would be cool if they officially addressed this. Then again, I'm not sure how I feel about Steven Moffat doing it.

It would be cool if they finally addressed that. Especially since it seems that the hybrid thing will tie into why the Doctor left Gallifrey. However, given the Doctor's reactions to Ashildr and Osgood, I get the impression that he doesn't actually know who or what the hybrid is.

If the only reference was when the Doctor told that guy at the party, it could be treated as a throwaway joke. However, don't forget, the Master used the Eye of Harmony to scan the Doctor's retina and confirm that he is half human.

The Fanthology "Season of War" suggests that the Doctor is a Dalek/Time Lord hybrid.

The Fanthology "Season of War" suggests that the Doctor is a Dalek/Time Lord hybrid. I think I'd really rather not know how that happened.

Or just showing a human retina and the Master makes the assumption.

I've always wondered if his newly regenerated form had some human dna contamination in it, perhaps due to the surgery. I don't know, I can't come up with a theory that works for me.

I kind of like that idea.

I know! We have a story in which the Seventh Doctor gets caught up in an adventure of the Twelfth. He's out of his depth, and so he dies of radiation poisoning, on the planet Sand, and is infected with a timeline virus, thanks to the machinations of a time-traveling Thugee cult! He regenerates into the McGann Doctor, and everything goes more or less as it would have (minus the events in San Francisco,) until his current incarnation... I should add that the Twelfth Doctor will be subtly aware that something's wrong, causing him to mutter his companion's name over and over again and have visions about perfectly fitting shoes doing surgery on him.

Shunting any TV episode, especially Mcgann's only full length episode, out of continuity is a terrible idea.

Shunting any TV episode, especially Mcgann's only full length episode, out of continuity is a terrible idea. I'd disagree. McGann, even more than Colin, has been an Audio doctor. We may love him, and cling to that Movie as his sole appearance on TV (outside cameo/minisodes), but that movie causes problems in continuity in so many ways, that can't really be explained satisfactory, or completely, and we're always going to be going back and forth as about it.
So maybe it's time to take a step and invent a new end for the Seventh Doctor, give him a proper end, and McGann a better beginning.
It's a thought, I kind of like it. But it's way out there and probably even less feasible than coming up to a solution that explains away the "Half-Human".
It should be added I despise the "Half-Human" bit. It's lazy and pointless.
