What are some of the things already announced that you are most looking forward to? What things do you think you know Big Finish is getting ready to announce are you looking forward to? Finally, what do you most want to see Big Finish release next year?
Already announced and preordered for me is Omega Factor s.3. The previous two volumes have been fantastic. I'm also really curious about the Tales From New Earth box set. When announced I certainly wondered if it wasn't scrapping the bottom of the barrel for Who related spin-offs and now I'm wondering if the freedom provided by the concept doesn't mean Big Finish can do some truly surprising and interesting things with the range.
Things I think/hope/am sure of Big Finish will release next year is Dark Shadows: Bloodline. I am desperate for the follow up to Bloodlust. Also, the next Sherlock Holmes box set is high on my list of wants. The Jonathan Barnes penned box sets have been uniformly strong and engaging and I'm ready for more. The first complete series of Cicero also holds a lot of interest.
My hopes? 11th Doctor. Period. End of. More 10 and Donna is also high on the list. Perhaps not one but two box sets for the 3rd Doctor and Jo. And for something completely unexpected that I didn't know I needed until BF announced it.
And for your picks?

There's lots of exciting stuff coming from BF next year, but I'm especially looking forward to more River, and the return of the monthly Torchwood releases. I'm still on the fence in regards to the First Doctor Adventures, but it'll be interesting to see what they do with it. But, yeah, I'm looking forward to the things announced so far. Still waiting to hear more about the Doom Coalition follow-up, but that's at the top of my list too already.
I'm also hoping for Eleventh Doctor Adventures, hopefully it's going to happen sooner rather than later. More Ten full-cast adventures would be welcome, no matter the companion. I know it's very unlikely, but I'd love if they managed to get Capaldi for 12DAs.

That explains why I forgot about the announcement NS short trips are definitely exciting, but that was a plot point I had no interest in ever revisiting, fingers crossed for more Donna or Captain Jack...

Agreed but that is why we have Big Finish. They often show us the ideas behind the various TV plots and characters were sound but the execution left something to be desired. Oh and in Joe Lidster I trust.

I think Gallifrey: The Time War sounds promising. The War Doctor range was fantastic, and The Time War looks as though it is going to be an epic set so I'm looking forward to hearing what they do with a Time War spin-off centered around Gallifrey. The Time War has quickly become one of my favourite areas of Big Finish.
The First Doctor Adventures with David Bradley is something I had hoped they would do before it was announced. My only disappointment here is that William Russell and Carole Ann Ford are not involved. A strange decision.
Then there's The Tenth Doctor Chronicles. Jaqueline King may not be the most exciting choice for a guest star from 10's era compared to Camille Coduri and Bruno Langley from The Ninth Doctor Chronicles but it's always nice to get more Tenth Doctor stories. Still holding out hope that BF announce a second 10 era guest star like Bernard Cribbins or Noel Clarke.
Jenny Who has quickly become the worst kept secret, and I've always wanted a Doctor's daughter spin-off so I can't wait to hear what BF do with the character. Wish they'd hurry up and announce it.
The Tenth Doctor Adventures Volume 3 with Freema Ageyman as Martha, so we have a complete set of BF audios with 10th Doctor companions before BF return to either Rose or Donna.

My only disappointment here is that William Russell and Carole Ann Ford are not involved. A strange decision. No it isn’t. They aren’t just selling David Bradley as the 1st Doctor. They are selling the entire cast from Adventures in Space and Time[i/] as the original crew in new adventures. One either buys the conceit of this Range or one doesn’t and for those that dont, there remains The Early Adventures and Companion Chronicles. There is no reason for Russell or Ford to be involved. And of those two William Russell is pretty much retired.

Whilst the original actors are still with us, why not just use them rather than a 'What if they had been played by the Adventures In Space And Time cast instead' premise? Don't get me wrong, I think The First Doctor Adventures sounds great. I'd personally have just preferred it if the only AISAT cast members used were David Bradley and Jemma Powell.

My hopes? 11th Doctor. Period. End of. More 10 and Donna is also high on the list. I'd love both of these. I think it's only a matter of time before we get The Eleventh Doctor Adventures, possibly with just 11 and Rory first in a gap where Amy wasn't travelling with the Doctor. I'd imagine it would be much easier for them to get Arthur Darvill on-board than Karen Gillan at the moment; both would be very difficult. Or maybe Jenna Coleman if she doesn't mind returning so soon after her exit and has some free time inbetween Victoria. More Ten and Donna would be an instant pre-order for me, even if I'd probably rather a full set of 10 with his era companions first (V1 Donna, V2 Rose, V3 Martha - even though I'm not a fan of the character, I think BF could improve Martha).

My only disappointment here is that William Russell and Carole Ann Ford are not involved. A strange decision. Eh, Russell is retired as far as we know, and it would be strange if Carole was the only returning cast member. Although it would honestly be kind of interesting for the First Doctor to be played by someone younger than Susan and Ian.

Excited for The First Doctor Adventures, the new format for the Fourth Doctor Adventures (even if I'm unable to buy them immediately), interested in what UNIT will be doing (even if I won't be listening, budget reasons), and the fifth season of Early Adventures as it is a First Doctor Series.
Hopefuls: More Shakespeare (I want A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest, and Macbeth), more Early Adventures announcements, more David Warner and Bernice Summerfield meeting Seven, Chris, and Roz and/or Eight and some companions (don't have to be book companions, comic adaptations for Doctor Who (they've been announced, but never what they are), and the hopeful of more Philip Hinchcliffe Presents.

At this point I've got all the single releases and box sets that I want ordered. I still have to purchase the bundle for Callan & Survivors as well as renewing my Main Range sub for 2018. Waiting on announcements for the other 8th Doctor strand, Dark Shadows: Bloodline and 20th anniversary Benny releases.
