Explains why Nick was asking about the color of the Doctor's coat in The Silurians on social media. But by the Cover it occurs between either Curse of Peladon and the Sea Devils or The Time Monster or Three Doctors
Actually the Podcast implies that its set at various points during his exile.

And very good it is too! Loved the insight into the Doctor’s feelings on being earth bound and what a drastic change to his life it was. I also enjoyed the time hopping through his life.
A lovely story that mirrors the melancholy we sometimes feel following Christmas. Bravo Selim!

Really good, touching story, the guy the Doctor interacts with throughout felt so genuine to me. The Third Doctor was well characterised too.
Also Nick’s Doctor impression is pretty good, I thought

"Gentle" captures the tone beautifully. In terms of character development and plot placement, it's quietly subversive, and it raises some great questions about the Third Doctor's willingness to "interfere". The scene on the ocean is haunting. I've had it stuck in my head all day. Well done, Selim!
Also, Neil Gardner outdid himself with the sound design (it just IS an English seaside) and the score, which I think was all new, apart from the fight music.
