Nick Briggs did the Zygon voices and was left off the credits.

Well, that was rather a lot of fun. It was like the biggest 3rd Doctor story ever except shaken & stirred with the 12th Doctor and modern storytelling methods. Loved the Murray Gold score for it...he should really score a 007 movie one of these days or perhaps a Marvel super hero franchise..or both. Hybrid is the key word for this series. And half way through and still no Minister of War. Anyway, lots of fun with part 1. Let's see if part 2 can stick the landing.

And half way through and still no Minister of War. I see a lot of people expecting that to be a "thing" but I honestly took it to be like the Terrible Zodin, if anything I loved it. It was a pure sequel to the Day Of The Doctor in a way we don't tend to get true sequels in Who very often. Pseudo-sequels a lot but truefollow ups to all the characters and events...not so much. Loved the scope - 3 continents at once. Loved Murray's score. The only downer? Rebecca Front is one of my ALL-TIME comic actor faves but she's no UNIT General. Felt she was cast very much to reunite her double act with Capaldi from The Thick Of It.

Weakest thing about the episode. She barely looked comfortable walking around in her field gear, let alone looking commanding in it. Not saying that a female actress could not, or should not have played the role but rather that Front was not that performer.

That was pretty awesome. I can't wait till part 2. I bet that Kate did the same thing as Elizabeth and killed the Zygon and is now impersonating it.

Another great episode, definite 3rd doctor story feel to it. Was expecting Jac to be a Zygon, until Clara started acting a bit strange / saw the Clara in the pod, following that was a shame to see Jac go! Agree that it doesn't feel that Kate was killed off, likely overpowered the Zygon instead, and while I think they don't need to keep the originals alive anymore, they are keeping Clara alive for now at least.

Great episode, Capaldi was excellent & the supporting cast were given plenty to do, the Zygons were menacing & not there for simple comic relief.
A excellent plot twist that i didn't see coming & another how will he get out of that scenario cliffhanger.
My favourite episode yet, 9/10

Nope. No way in hell Harry Sullivan designed a nerve toxin. 0/10 for character assassination.

Nope. No way in hell Harry Sullivan designed a nerve toxin. 0/10 for character assassination. Given the trauma he went through at the hands of the zygons, and the fact that this was the story where he lwft the TARDIS, I find it very believable. Unpleasant yes, but makes the character much more realistic

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

I loved it. I didn't start having "hang on..." moments until after the episode finished and they were almost entirely ones that could be dealt with believably. The return of Osgood was handled really well and it felt like a real game-changer in the world the Doctor - or, at least, Clara and UNIT - inhabit. Gripped all the way through.

I liked the return of Osgood, a very mature performance from Ingrid Oliver. I had some grips but found much to like. For me leagues ahead of Kill the Moon

Nope. No way in hell Harry Sullivan designed a nerve toxin. 0/10 for character assassination. There is no way Harry would experiment on anyone, or anything! Steven Moffat is a disgrace!

The books - System Shock, Millenium Shock and Damaged Goods to name but three - have had Harry being a top man at MI-5 - an oragnisation not averse to torture, political assassination, conspiracy and murder. I don't see that someone working at the head of the UK secret service would have any qualms about developing and indeed using a gas like that.

But Peter Harness gets a free pass? Nice to see you've started the way I'm sure you mean to go on...negative, Moffat-bashing, NuWho-hating, exclamation-point-abusing...

I reckon Harry was the one who informed Sarah and the Doctor about the Nerve Gas and thats why he took it.
Also such a great episode. Talk about wiping out characters wholesale and the reference to The Zygon who fell to Earth in the convo with Osgood. And the fact they will just keep us guessing as to which one Missy Killed.
Cant wait to see next weeks episode
