That's because some people are too nice to say "they're rubbish"! I suppose I’ll skip the stage plays then.. If you like behind the scenes stuff the extras are great.

For the stage plays interviews, it's a glimpse into an aspect of Doctor Who that we don't normally get insight to.

Maybe after pay day I'll get the 13 of the MRs I only have physical copies of (3 from before I started buying directly from Big Finish and 10 after Big Finish ran out so I have the potential for a spare (especially for Shadow of the Scourge as I only have that on cassette)

I have old second-hand copies of about 20 odd stories from the 1-50. I could pick them up on downloads now that they're so cheap and they'll be available on the app to listen to (I'm lazy, I know )

I'm doing exactly the same and I'm also re-buying some of 51-100 from BF for much the same reason and to get shiny new shrink-wrapped CDs to 'upgrade' the second-hand copies I currently have, while the new CDs are still available.

In my early days of discovering BF, I didn’t know if I would like them or not. So I picked up some random titles second hand just to give them a try. No I want them ALL in my download account

Unit: Snake Head sounds good so I got that one too.. I love that whole first UNIT series but that one is my favourite. I've listened to it quite a few times.

How about the Iris audios on offer - are they any good? Oddball humour but for 99p or £4 for the complete set you can't really go wrong.

Maybe the most amazing bargain in the sale is Dalek Empire, it's a really good series even aside from all the great cast - but agreed this would also be a great time to find out whether or not Auntie Iris is your cup of tea without your wallet complaining.

How about the Iris audios on offer - are they any good? "Did you 'ear that, Panda chuck? Any good? Any GOOD? - The bloomin' cheek of it! Heh-hey!, we're bloomin' brilliant!" "Ohhhh, now you've set her off just when I was hoping for a quiet evening. They're only 99p and they star a remarkably talented, suave and erudite traveller in Time and Space. And the mad old bat I'm stuck travelling with. Iris - IRIS, stop brandishing that bottle around, it isn't empty..." ('Auntie' Iris and Panda are huge fun, wonderfully played by Katy Manning and David Benson and the second series which is on offer shouldn't be missed by any 'Doctor Who' fan with a sense of history and humour. The first three episodes spoof the show in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 'The Panda Invasion' is a priceless send-up of The Movie. Highly recommended at full price, never mind £3.96 for the set! )

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Confession time: I am obviously not a serious Big finish listener because I succumbed this morning and bought about 50 releases that I was missing.
50!

Thanks for getting the servers warmed up for my visitation... I knew there were quite a few from the early MR I still needed but I also found a host of goodies from other ranges - Dalek Empire, I Davros, hey I'll get all the stage plays at that price. Plus a handful from the monster weekend sale so far and it will be "the most for the least" I've ever bought from BF, if that makes sense? Now, do I buy today or wait for Cyber-Monday? I think I'm fully upgraded when it comes to Cyber-stories but not totally sure; I'l probably wait.

What's your opinion on the Stage Plays and Destiny of the Doctor? I'm disinclined to get the latter anyway, but curious to hear what you think. The Stage Plays are a product of their time and really only for completists (IMHO). I enjoyed Destiny ... They are Audiobooks, so not to everyone's taste but on the whole I enjoyed them - I like the tie-in plot between the stories and some were pretty good stories ( Shadows of Death, Vengeance of the Stones, Babblesphere, Smoke and Mirrors, Death's Deal). I paid £3.99 each and haven't regretted it but at £0.99 they are a steal. Cheers Tony I ended up getting the Destiny of the Doctor releases you mentioned, plus Shockwave (cause I like Sophie Aldred). Since I was planning to buy some stories in the Second Doctor sale of today, I figured I might as well add the 99p stories while they're still available.
