Really looking forward to Maggie & Quentin—favorite characters along with Carolyn & Jeb. I hope we also get more short story collections in the future! They were all so good, as was the Tony & Cassandra set.

Also, I find myself fervently hoping for more of Matthew Waterhouse's superb contributions to the range, soon - and more from Andy Coleman, naturally.

The 10th element, Neon? what about it? Sorry, it was like I was quiting the knights who say Ni, but had a typo! I am looking forward to new dark shadows, almost there!

Well, I could hold back no longer, waiting for something else to go with it, so I’ve ordered Maggie & Quentin, and also added Cicero, because I loved the pilot ep and figured I’d give the new series a go.
And yes, I order all DS on CD, because it has such a gorgeous cast on awesome covers, but I do fully utilize the free included download version. Cicero is, of course, download only.

In regards to Bloodline, it's possible that John Karlen's health issues might have rocked the production somewhat. It's possible he'd recovered and had a bigger role in Bloodline , before his health began to decline again (and I remember hearing on the podcast he was also having difficulty with his memory), it's possible Big Finish might have had to alter their plans somewhat. My impression from Big Finish and hearing about the series elsewhere prior to listening is that the Dark Shadows actors are very tight knit with each other.

John's health has been fairly consistent over the last few years. His health has not affected the writing or recording of any audios. I can't remember any of my interviews (which is most of the DS coverage) discussing John's memory and I'm not ppersonally aware of any issues with it.

I do remember it stated on the podcast that it was unlikely John Kazen would reprise his role as Willie and it was also common knowledge (discussed here) amongst fans. The issues of memory (which was also delicatly put) was a reference to an undisclosed Dark Shadows actor, not John and was delicatly put by Big Finish and I apologise.

Just to clarify, Michael...when I said I was waiting for something else to add to Maggie & Quentin, I wasn’t even thinking of Bloodline. In addition to DS, I always buy the BF Classics, all Survivors releases, and was an avid fan of The Confessions of Dorian Gray range. With Survivors, I’m already pre-ordered through Series 9, and that’s still a way off. Dorian is ended (much to my great sorrow!)....so I was actually thinking of other ranges. Cicero should fill the bill nicely!

Finished The Sand That Speaks His Name (these titles are very poetic). Reminded me of The Voodoo Amulet, by the same writer, in that the plot revolves around a pair of characters running around a city like it's a scavenger hunt. A golem in New York takes me back to Murder on 81st Street from The Confessions of Dorian Gray
