I've listened to Funeral on Kalion and Shock Troops so far. I was surprised a the "by any means" attitude in these stories. In "Funeral" they just hijack a ship from another planet, killing those aboard. And still by the end of the story they didn't get anything accomplished. In "Shock Troops" Avon was ready to go as far down the road as Servalan, but Dana stopped him. "Shock Troops" was a real change of pace as we saw what we thought were real soldiers working for the Federation, believing in what they are doing - and having some doubts. Imogen Church was just great as Niner in the story.

4.5 Funeral on Kalion yesterday.
A good solid story, very Blake's 7. Trevor Littledale has a great voice for audio.
As someone said above, the crew did seem a bit out of character murdering the crew of the Teal ship, especially after they were on good terms with Teal in Deathwatch

4.6 Shock Troops yesterday
Another very good story. I didn't spot the twists coming, always earns a bonus mark for a story in my eyes.

I enjoyed all these stories.
Funeral on Kalion sets up some nice political maneuvering.
Shock Troops had some nice surprises, as I tried to figure out what Dayna's role was in this whole scenario. Which turned out to be totally different from what I thought in the beginning!
Erebus was an interesting story, I thought, and I liked the way it played out.
Scapegoat was a fun little story, with the "real" and "fake" Vilas.
In the extras, Zen saying "Attention" before the name of each actor (and their comments) and "Confirmed" after each actor's name was funny the first few times, but it got old (and a bit annoying) real fast.

4.7 Erebus this week
Not a bad script, gave good roles to the rest of the crew as well as Avon and did portray Avon as fallible. Darrow's other B7 stories suggested a somewhat simplistic view of the science behind sci-fi and that came across here too. Otherwise, all good.
That's 3 out of 4 listened to from this boxset and no misses so far

Well, Shock Troops is excellent. Rather a departure in style for this range, it is a kind of audio found-footage, crew-lite episode mostly devoid of the usual (and very enjoyable) posturing of strong alpha males Avon and Tarrant. This is virtually an all-female cast and is terrific fun. Also, it features - for the first time, I think - usage of the initials BS for words other than Blake's Seven! This gives the new Dayna centre-stage, which is welcome. Yasmin Bannerman has proven a very good choice for Dayna, and (perhaps wisely) has been used as 'just another crew-member' thus far in order to establish her. That done, she carries much of this on her own and provides a fresh take on both the character and the style of story-telling. Crossfire part 1 took a while to find its feet, whereas on the evidence so far, this second set has hit the ground running. Terrific, gritty stuff. I'm with Paz on this one, a very interesting angle on the B7 universe. Overworked and overstressed federation troops hopping from one killing zone to another, wondering when it is their turn for the grave. Great Eno/John Carpenter-esq score too, simple but just right. This story got a poxy 5.3 on The**********, but it get's an 8 out of 10 from me.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

It's a stronger collection than the first. Looking forward to dipping my toes into the last set.
