*blows dust off avatar* *taps keyboard* is this thing still working? I am a latecomer to the Jago and Litefoot range, having only discovered The Mahogany Murderers and Series 1 at the beginning of March this year. I am also massively behind in my listening thanks to that deeply annoying thing called life - so far only the aforementioned titles plus Series 2, Series 3, The Jago and Litefoot Revival, The Justice of Jalxar and Jago & Litefoot & Strax : The Haunting. Yet in January I will break my buying habit for only the third time in three and half years of purchasing from Big Finish, pre-order Jago and Litefoot Forever in advance of it's release date...and not listen to it. Don't get me wrong, I'm really pleased that there will be a conclusion to the range and that the cliffhanger to Series 13 that I've read so much about will be resolved. It doesn't even bother me that I will end up with a CD version of Revival which I already have on download (lets face it - the cost of the two downloads was the same as what I spend in three weeks in my desperate attempts to get all six numbers on the Lotto..). Buying early is my small way of saying thank you - to the production team, the cast and of course the two leads for the sheer entertainment they've given me so far and the opportunity to escape to Victorian London alongside the Infernal Investigators for a few hours (and goodness knows we could all do with a bit of escapism these days..). Buying early and not listening will also give me the motivation to pull my finger out and finally bridge the gap between Series 3 and Jago and Litefoot Forever. Something I'm determined to do even if it takes me until next New Year's Eve to get there. That is, as long as I can resist the temptation to listen.. Happy Christmas one and all.

Not happy to pay for something twice, but happy to have the closure.
Although, I guess, happy is not quite the right word. Looking forward to J&L releases was a big deal for me.
I would still be open to BF introducing another Litefoot. Perhaps a previously unknown daughter from when he was in China? She arrives to meet her father only to find out he is...gone. Jago could tell her tempting tales about him before she, herself, gets caught up in the mayhem. I think the dynamic of Jago with a young, determined woman could be great (like Leela Lite). I can see him being frustrated, protective and still somewhat frightened all at the same time. Having Betterman involved from time-to-time as a mentor for her professional pursuits (science or medicine) would take some of the burden off of Jago.
Whatever BF does, I'm glad Litefoot will get a proper send-off.

I'd be happy to see some Henry Gordon Jago solo releases, though, and if there are some new characters in the mix, well, the more the merrier.

I don’t want it to be the last we hear of Henry Gordon Jago either. I’d like to see him on an adventure with 5.

Personally I think that Litefoot’s absence would be felt too much in such a series. I am hoping that Big Finish can start to do The Paternoster Adventures and then have characters like Jago & Ellie make guest appearances in that. Or as there has been a Jago & Litefoot and Strax release why not have a Madam Vastra & Jenny and Jago release!?

May will soon be here.
Normally I cannot wait for a pre-order to arrive, but this feels different.
I like having new Jago & Litefoot to look forward to, but soon Jago & Litefoot Forever will be final.

... See it's things like this that make coming back from my self exile from Doctor Who hard. I'm sad to hear of Trevor's passing, and this perfectly answers the question in my head about the title of the story seeming like a finale.

Also, kind of ironic since I decided to spring for the series 7 short stories just yesterday.

It is such an odd feeling to both be so utterly happy and yet so very sad.
