Hi All,
Quick question, I purchased Series 1 and 2 of the Blake’s 7 ‘The Classic Audio Adventures’ when they came out. I loved Series 1, but really struggled with Series 2 - I just found them a little dull and didn’t enjoy the inclusion of Del Grant.
Season C & D have always been my favourites of Blake’s 7, so that fact I was disappointed with the audio Series 2 was a surprise to myself. This has put me off a little for The Spoils of War and Crossfire.
So my questions is for those who have heard them, given I didn’t enjoy Series 2, are The Spoils of War and Crossfire more engaging? Keen to hear your thoughts.

Spoils of War felt like fairly traditional storytelling (in my opinion), but Crossfire has a really 'epic' feel about it - it's one ongoing story arc (which is a fantastic one, but I won't say what it is for fear of spoilers), though there are the odd character-centred stories as well. I'm not sure if that helps. Let's say that they definitely feel different to the second series of audios since we have Dayna now, but I've enjoyed all of the full-cast stories, so it's a very subjective thing Oh, and Del isn't in them, if that helps

I am being absolutely serious here Spoils of war and Crossfire are great(have not heard part 2) But the most engaging Blakes 7 release recently imho is "The Way Ahead" Why not Try it??
