I don't understand the question. He is asking if anything that happens in the plot of the tv show Penny Dreadful, which featured Dorian Gray, contradicts anything that happens in The Confessions of Dorian Gray audio drama from Big Finish. So therefore the 2 shows can exist in the same continuity.

But does anything in either contradict the other? Well Dorian's more into women in the TV Show and is more concerned with his position in society in the TV Show but to tell you more would spoil it

Spoilers are fine, I've seen the whole series. In regards to what's in your spoiler bubble... {Spoiler}Penny Dreadful takes place in 1891, when Dorian is still somewhat concerned with his standing in society. And Dorian has always flitted between both men and women, so I don't really see much of an issue there.

OK Penny Dreadful Dorian likes living forever , Confessions is rather weary of it, but when he forms relationships he's more sincere.

But, again, Penny Dreadful starts in 1891, and ends a year or so later. Meanwhile, Confessions doesn't even start until 1900, and the only times we get before that are the flashback to Dorian's childhood in Running Away With You, the adaption of Picture itself, and the mad rambling stream of consciousness that is the bulk of One Must Not Look At Mirrors, most of which is set in 1888, just a few years prior to when Penny Dreadful is set. I can totally see that Dorian in Penny Dreadful.

I haven't read anything on this thread that precludes the theory.

But does anything in either contradict the other? Yes--they're visual contradictions--one is a dead ringer for Alex Vlahos. The other looks a lot more like Reeve Carney!

I can't remember, does Dorian ever interact with Jekyll in the show? Which also brings up the conundrum of Jekyll replacing Moreau, who they couldn't get the rights to use...

I don't know whether this is the least bit helpful, but I write a multi-verse fanfiction which is basically a mish-mash of favourite settings and characters from various books and TV series. Obviously there are inconsistencies, but I will write a story that describes how a character got from one state to another whenever I find it necessary... I haven't seen Penny Dreadful (yet), but perhaps you could write a story which explains how Dorian got from being the person he is in PD to the character in 'Confessions'...?
