read by john banks its part of the malazan series and the third book in esslemont's half of that series that i listened to and so far this is the best
the malazan fantasy books are by 2 DnD buddies stephen erikson and esslemont. erikson being the more popular of the two.
i am half thru listening and this one is much better than the first 2 of his. so im glad about that.
