Does anyone know why an eBook isn't being released as well? Rights issues? Or because it's all previously published material, and they would prefer to do eBooks of the original books they are drawn from,?

That's what I thought at first (but have they been re-named then? There's 2 titles that sound similar to ones in A life worth living for example).

The Evacuation of Bernice Summerfield by Ben Aaronovitch (Missing Adventures, full title The Evacuation of Bernice Summerfield Considered as a Short Film by Terry Gilliam)Walking Backwards for Christmas by Ben Aaronovitch (Something Changed)The Library of Books by Andrew Cartmel (Missing Adventures)A Mutual Friend by Terrance Dicks (A Life of Surprises)The Least Important Man by Steven Moffat (The Dead Men Diaries)Solar Max by Kate Orman (A Life of Surprises, full title Solar Max and the Seven-Handed Snake-Mother)And Then Again by Rob Shearman (A Life of Surprises)The only one I can't match is Eternal Spring by Paul Cornell, but there is a story he's written called Misplaced Spring, published in A Life Worth Living. Alternatively it's the only original story in the set, or a story he had written for an anthology but never got to publish. Misplaced Spring was his last story for the short story anthologies, and either that or Life During Wartime was the last collection he edited. Am considering buying this if there is new material in it, but not if it is all just stuff I already have in print. Has it been confirmed 100% for definite either way?

I've been listening to this on the app. Why aren't the stories broken down into individual tracks? It's really annoying me.

My download came as 43 tracks total for the set. In the Big Finish app it is just one long 4 hour 40-odd minute track. Not the usual break down into sub sections the app normally has. i started listening to it tonight, playing it directly in the Big Finish app on my iPad.

I've been listening to this on the app. Why aren't the stories broken down into individual tracks? It's really annoying me. Short version: To show up as separate tracks in the app, each story would have to have its own m4b file in the Audiobook download ... which rather defeats the point of the m4b file format. Long version: The app is simply an interface to download the audiobook (m4b) option from the website. When there are multiple m4b files in the download, it shows them as separate tracks. The idea behind the m4b file format was to have an entire book in one file, rather than a lot of mp3s. It could store your place in the book and allow you to select chapters within the file. Big Finish follows this standard by also having books as one m4b file. Therefore, it shows as one track in the app. Each short story does have its own chapter, though.

I really enjoyed this! I did not know the stories in print form previously and only just recently have gotten into Bernice Summerfield. These are some quite interesting stories, read Lisa Bowerman who does a great job. Most of the stories are not straightforward, but more of an experimental/ non-linear type of story-telling. This is a big plus for me since I really enjoy experimental stories. So if you like Benny and are open for unusual stories, this is for you. Recommended.
