On iplayer and told by Matthew Sweet of The Magic Mousetrap fame. Delia was the creator of the Dr Who theme and other years-before-her-time electronic compositions, which is right up my street.
Have a listen!

Yep. Ron Grainer is rightly credited as the writer of the Doctor Who theme, but it is Delia's arrangement of it that sets it apart from anything else. And still, 55 years later, it sounds as timeless as ever.

I've been listening to this. It's fascinating to learn about the early days of electronic music. There seem to have been quite a few female pioneers of electronic music as well as some working today who are amazing, like Hannah Peel & Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith. If you're interested I'd also suggest checking out Daphne Oram who co-founded the Radiophonic Workshop.
