I guess they are sort of tangentially involved in Broken, but it seems to me that pretty much everything else is set either
A) prior to the beginning of the show
B) during Series 2
C) between Series 2 & 3
D) between Series 4 & 5

Some people place The Conspiracy, Fall to Earth, and Uncanny Valley in series 1 (possibly Zone 10 as well), but I don't think it's been confirmed either way.

I place The Conspiracy in Series 2 (one scene is set at a nearly completed apartment block that's the main location of a novel set between Something Borrowed and From Out of the Rain), and Jack mentions knowing how the team can work without him, which happens in the gap between series 1 and 2.

I place them in series 1 because Ianto seems very much like his series 1 self in Fall to Earth, for me it doesn't really make sense for him to try to prove himself like he does in the story after already proving himself in the show by series 2. Jack saying that the team have had missions without him at the end of the conspiracy doesn't have to be a reference to the gap between series 1 and 2. After all, the monthly series is mostly adventures without Jack.
