It seems reasonable that such a thing will happen, even it only a few starring John Barrowman as Jack Harkness. Thoughts?

It works for me, I think most of us fear that getting Eccleston himself will be as tough as getting old Tom onboard, so the odd Companion Chronicle will be welcome.
Barrowman would be great, Billie also, perhaps even an older companion encountering the Doctor after many years too.

There are solid opportunities here to use Rose, Jackie, Captain Jack, and Mickey in companion chronicles style stories and I'm sure Big Finish will kick this idea around, especially if Eccleston knocks back their offers. A couple of these actors have already worked for BF, so it's easier to imagine this happening. My guess would be the main challenge might be scheduling Billie Piper. I feel like she'll do it, she was back for the 50th anniversary episode and she has recently done a number of convention appearances along side Tennant, but she's also fairly busy with work.
I'm all for the Companion Chronicles coming back in a big way, I might add.

I can't help but wonder if The Churchill Memoirs might be the testing ground for the revival series audience for such a series and a Jackie Companion Chronicle is a thing the world desperatly needs My only problem is that I would rather to see Nine's influence on Jack at play in a series rather then in a Companion Chronicles format out of neccessity. On the otherhand, a Rose Companion Chronicle triolgey might be a nice way of exploring her life between Doomsday and The Stolen Earth with her looking back on her adventures with The Doctor in relation to a problem Torchwood is experiencing and her adjustment to Pete.

Not a fan of the Jackie character, would never miss her if she never appeared in any Who ever again.

This would be a lot of fun. Jackie's POV of the Ninth Doctor and Rose stopping an alien invasion would be very insightful.

I predict a Companion Chronicles: The Ninth Doctor Vol. 1 Box Set! With three (possibly four) stories narrated by Captain Jack, Mickey, and Jackie. I think if they can get Billie Piper then they're more likely to use her time recording full-cast audios with David Tennant.

Happy to go with this. I agree it will take a while if ever to get Chris Eccelston back to play the Doctor, but if they get Billie Piper; John Barrowman; Camille Coduri and Noel Clarke for Ninth Doctor Companion Chronicles someday then that will make my day! Tim.

Now that's an interesting idea! EDIT: Bit of a mess there with the quotes, sorry 'bout that.

I think Companion Chronicles would be the best and only way for Big Finish to produce 9th Doctor audios, given that Christopher Eccleston agreeing to return is about as likely as me [offensive section removed by mod] Possibly Billie Piper, Noel Clarke, John Barrowman and Camille Coduri all reading at least one story each.
Moderator comment: If you need to say "no offence" then you already know it;s offensive.

How about a series of stories set on the parallel Earth, with Mickey, Jake and the other Preachers tracking down and destroying Cyberman bases? It could end with Mickey getting ready to return to his home universe to infiltrate Torchwood. Alternatively, Rose Tyler: Defender of Earth!

Also, I NEVER want to see or hear Rose Tyler:Defender of Earth, especially since they'd all have to be set before she got Handy Doctor in her life, or if they were after then why would Billie Piper and David Tennant not just make Ten and Rose adventures? I know which I'd choose and BF would be shooting themselves in the foot if they thought that variation should be chosen over Ten and Rose.

I was being ironic with Defender of Earth, hence the exclamation point at the end. If I'd suggested that on GB, I'd be roasted alive.

Premise for a Rose CC: In the alternate universe, Torchwood is dealing with something that is familiar to Rose - namely the exact same event she experienced when she and the Ninth Doctor travelled to 2008 in her home universe (probably in another country somewhere). Only with a few small differences - and a chance for Rose to do it all over again.

Just because he wasn't in Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel doesn't mean he doesn't exist.

Sounds similar to a Seventh Doctor audio, A Thousand Tiny Wings. {Spoiler} In her original timeline Klein investigated the outbreak of a disease in Kenya in the '50s. During the story, in the restored timeline, she goes back to the scene to investigate and prevent the outbreak happening.
