Okay, we are now OFFICIALLY living in a bizarre universe wherein anything is possible.

BIG suprise. I'd expected maybe getting Terrance Dicks or a big name to write a Fourth Doctor novel, but not this!

Depends on what you mean by "big name" here. Goss is hardly an unknown, after all.

Didn't expect this. I think on balance I'd have preferred it as a BF Lost Story rather than a novel.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Given that the big storyline turned up a couple of years later rejigged as a central idea of Life, The Universe And Everything I think this is a pretty cynical and desperate move on the part of the Adams estate. This is shark-jumping territory.
Edit: whoops. Got the wrong unproduced story idea in my head. Apologies for being an idiot. Am keeping the post up to remind myself to check stuff first.

The question has been put to Big Finish and they have frequently stated that it was very visual story, not easily adapated for audio in comparsion to the rest of the Lost Stories.

The shark was pretty much jumped with Krikkitmen. Why not get on to Eric Saward about officially novelising Resurrection and Revelation of the Daleks?

The shark was pretty much jumped with Krikkitmen. Why not get on to Eric Saward about officially novelising Resurrection and Revelation of the Daleks? He was reported in DWB as novelising them along with Yellow Fever back around 1993.
From memory he said in a DWM interview (issue 148?) that Terry Nation wanted 60% of the money for use of the Daleks, which Saward considered "bloody outrageous", hence no novelisations. That is how things were left.
We're in fantasy land here, but if they were getting Saward then I would be interested in all of the above, plus in a novelisation of part 13 of Trial, followed by his version of part 14, plus a conclusion to the cliffhanger.

What the-
What
Oh gosh.
I hope that 1) Tom Baker actually had input on this novelisation, rather than just being credited for the script and 2) that James Goss played a vital role in turning this cavalcade of whimsy, weirdness and pinball into something more closely resembling a story.
We are through the looking glass, my friends. Dark Dimension 2020?

We are through the looking glass, my friends. Dark Dimension 2020? Considering the author was a plagiaristic conman, I doubt it more than a bit. If Candy Jar threw him off the Lethbridge books, what chance does he or his stuff have with the real Beeb?

I'm really intrigued and excited about this one. I always hoped it would see the light of day in some form. From the synopses I've read I think prose might actually be the vest way to realise it to its fullest potential. Bring it on.

Did not know that. What did he do this time?
