Great stuff. And what a treat with the run of Seventh Doctor stories! It has me curious as to where the rumoured Chris / Roz story will come? Surely not a run of six Seventh Doctor stories?

Potentially! Normally it’s two releases in December, isn’t it? So it could well be Muse of Fire and the Chris / Roz story too. So the Seventh Doctor would get a six story run, across five months and set in four distinct eras. Sounds great to me!

The thing that makes me think it's a Seventh Doctor story is that they seem to be running in order Doctorwise (if not companionwise)... Unless it's Paul!

It's slightly odd to have two Sylv trilogies back-to-back (I presume a result of the incoming changes of producer/script editor for each Doctor), but it'd be even odder to have two unconnected Seventh Doctor stories and then another Doctor.

You can count me in for more Auntie Iris fun! Now that she's met Seven, I really would love for her to pop up in some other ranges - maybe a day out with One or Two in the Early Adventures, the fabled Venetian adventure with Three that involves a misinterpreted marriage proposal, going bonkers with Four in his Season 17 craziness, or even spending some time getting to know the more battered and world-weary Eight in Ravenous! I know, I know, I'm getting well ahead of myself...

The last time that happened was 2015. In 2016 the 4x1 was October and last year it was both in September (if you consider Time in Office a 4x1).

It must sound like I'm joking, but I am being 100% absolutely sincere when I say this sounds like just about the most perfect cast ever assembled by Big Finish. Only the lineup in A Death in the Family surpasses it.

Only a theory, but: The first story in this trilogy is a Klein story written by her creator, Steve Lyons; then an Iris story written by her creator, Paul Magrs; and we think the final story is the Chris/Roz one that's been recorded. Wouldn't it make sense if that story was written by Andy Lane?

Wouldn't it make sense if that story was written by Andy Lane? I reckon you could get a lot of mileage out of that arrangement. Every half-dozen trilogies or so, just a small triumvirate of creator-written stories come in with a new tale for an ol' fondly remembered property.

Hope the Main Range sees out the year on 2 high notes I can't wait to get stuck into it. I feel like crap today and wish I could just go home, pull my blanket over my head and listen to this...
