Very good, but according to the full schedules they've missed out 'The Chase'. What will Twitch chat be without 'London, 1965!' ?

Very good, but according to the full schedules they've missed out 'The Chase'. What will Twitch chat be without 'London, 1965!' ? I can hear the clarion cries of " London, 2164!" already.
The symmetry of Invasion Earth and Day of the Daleks is nice, though. I wonder if they've angled for the original or the Special Edition?

Hello again.
No, not the mind probe! Ah The Five Doctors on Twitch complete with original timescoop effect. The Mr Whippy ice cream one not so effective!
Just a heads up. All three Eighties Dalek stories start at 18:00 GMT. Looking forward to it, haven't seen the two Saward stories since their original transmission.

Hello again.
Well that's it. Twitch over and out. Three very different Dalek stories although interesting that each develops Davros's attempts to regain control over his creation. All three stories also show the Doctor become hardened in his treatment of both Davros and the Daleks and the beginnings of the Time War.
I'd forgotten what a grim story Resurrection is. Saward re-establishing the Daleks as a force to be reckoned with. The twitchers were keeping track of the body count. It was not surprising Tegan had had enough.
Revelation is odd. Graeme Harper's direction is terrific. There is another gruesome Sawardian story, borrowed from Soylent Green and Evelyn Waugh. The characters are very interesting. Clive Swift's Jobel is particularly creepy. I really liked William Gaunt as Orcini. A great character well-played. There is a lot of nasty imagery here. Even the poor comedy DJ is yet another casualty. How many changes of costume did he have!? The Doctor however, is written with no charm whatsoever no wonder poor Peri looks thoroughly fed up.
It will be very interesting to read Saward's novelisation when it comes out in paperback next year. His version of The Twin Dilemma was absolutely hilarious and full of interesting little details.
Remembrance, the real 25th anniversary story. Doctor Who looked like a different show from 1987. Two sets of Daleks. Well-written characters stuck in the middle of this nightmare. A Doctor starting to become this darker more manipulative figure with an active companion that reminded some twitchers of Leela.
A really enjoyable evening. Excellent!

Damn, I totally forgot about this Twitch-ism, although most of it I would not have been able to see due to work schedule.
