Still no news article on this yet, my favourite of all the Big Finish ranges.
I'm sure the last box set was announced with over a year to go before release.

Very strange nothing's been mentioned or confirmed (especially since its the 30th Anniversery of Remembrance this year)

They have typically been released late in the year, so I suppose it is possible this one could have a quick turnaround pending any recording still left to do.

Vol 2 was available to preorder not long after Vol 1 was released, but I don't think we got details on it until October.
We know one of the stories is already recorded as Time of the Intelligence replaced it late in the day.

It is not just this (assumed) release that has not been announced.
If you go forward through every month on the what's new page on the bf site it is very sparse (relatively speaking).
As well as no new counter measures season 6 there is no Torchwood 25-30 for next year, no early adventures series 6, no comic strip adaptation, no details of the 2nd December main range release, no blakes 7 restoration - all things that could conceivably have been announced by now.
Whilst we don't know what is or is not recorded yet, we know they are always busy working away in studios so there must surely be something in the can they could announce?

I just continue to believe the floodgates of announcements will be opened on Big Finish Day.

Well at least we have the next monthly series of Torchwood announced now - from March 2019 all the way to February 2020!

I just continue to believe the floodgates of announcements will be opened on Big Finish Day. Nick has promised we will hear about the fabled adaptation of comiks trip by then.

I will be watching BF Day with breathless anticipation for new announcements then There’s usually a lot of juicy stuff announced then, it’s worth keeping and eye on the Twitter and Facebook feeds, and last time marketing gnu Kris was running a live Periscope (basically live streaming as he walked around). Depending on where you live the time zones might be awkward.

Vol 2 was rubbish so won't be buying any more. I would agree that volume 2 was pretty flawed and while I would not shut the door on buying a volume 3, it certainly won't be an instant buy as previous volumes have been.

Well yes will see how the reviews are if we get S3. Shame because I loved this range in its original version.

Vol 2 was rubbish so won't be buying any more. A bit harsh, the time of the intelligence wasn't too hot but the other 3 were all pretty good. I've just finished a relisten and really enjoyed both new box sets.

I've just finished a relisten and really enjoyed both new box sets. See I thought the first episode was one of the worst things I've heard from Big Finish is a long, long time. And that isn't something I say lightly. I loved the black & white version of Counter Measures and quite enjoyed the relaunch of the colour version.

According to the podcast Counter Measures has now gone the same way as Pathfinder Legends and The Omega Factor (and possibly Survivors at some point in the future?) and been bought to an end by low sales.
I can't help but wonder then if a downloadable audio book reading (ala The Omega Factor : Spider's Web) rather than a full cast production is a more cost effective option to keep those ranges alive? Or is it just the case that sales are not even strong enough to justify that?
I guess I'll never get an answer to those questions, but I hope BF at least explored all options before pulling the plug.

I find it interesting that with the announcement of CDs going out of print after a year if there are poor sales, and some future releases only having limited print runs (like Class), that we haven't actually seen any other affects of this. Heck, surely the could move ranges to download only if necessary? To cut off great ranges like this is just really sad (This is what I'm referring to for those who might not know: www.bigfinish.com/news/v/the-digital-revolution-is-here1 )
