What makes everyone so certain that picture is Sheridan Smith? Sure it could be, perhaps even probable, but I can't see anything that makes it certain.

Hmm... although I also belong to the Charley faction who prefers Miss Pollard over Miss Miller, looking forward to it. Should be interesting.

You have that about right. A couple of years ago I was at LI Who. I decided to go to the hotel gym and while I was walking the treadmill McGann came in and started working out. It was just him and me in the gym and I almost passed out on the treadmill. Totally normal response on your part. If I came across Paul McGann or Peter Capaldi I wouldn't be able to function like a normal human being If i met Paul McGann, i'd probably end up quoting Alien 3 at him lol "It Feeds On Minds, Nobody can stop it"

Outside of Doctor Who, I'd probably ask him about his turn on Hornblower and what it was like to work with David Warner, Ioan Grufford and James Bamber. They filmed on an actual ship for the Renowned and had the full crowd for the later fight on the island against the Spaniards. There've got to be some good stories in that. You know, once my mouth had reestablished a connection with my brain.

When I met Paul Mcgann, the 2nd occasion he came up to me and straight away asked what I thought about "Night Of The Doctor" as it had just aired about 1 week previously. We spent a good 2 mins (which seemed forever!) chatting about how great it was etc. His eyes lit up as he could see I was genuinely happy about his lil surprise to the world. He is awesome. <MIC DROP>

Indeed! I always love that, hearing that all this stuff is just as exciting for them to make as it is for us to read/watch/listen.

The promoter was in constant talks with him for months b4 it aired and he couldn't believe he kept it such a secret- literally no one but a select few BBC people knew what they had filmed.
Man... I need to listen to some more 8th audio cds now.. !

Ive never seen that photo before I found it on one of his fansites while I was searching for more of his Sharpe audiobooks a while back, there are more here at this link. Makes me wonder actually, have we had a Napoleonic era Eighth Doctor story yet?

Great stuff; love that TARDIS duo and can’t wait to delve back into this era again!

Great stuff; love that TARDIS duo and can’t wait to delve back into this era again! Note that’s another classic monster Big Finish can notch off, the Fendahl. I like it’s horror aspect (Image of the Fendahl felt like the swan song of the Philip Hinchcliffe gothic period),so hopefully Alan Barnes can do it justice. I’m aware it’s turned up in the Kaldor City or Faction Paradox audios.

The very vaguely titled thread? Because I didn't remotely suggest it could be retitled or anything...
