Yeah, I waited a while hoping the d/l rights would get sorted, but over three years ago got tired of waiting and bought the whole Benny CD bundle. At least that was before the USA postage hike.

Any thoughts on 'Theatre of War'?
Trying to stick to existing ranges of Doctor Who as lead character and Cast member as shelf space has sadly run out, tempted as I am by the 7th and Unbound box sets. Is it a satisfying listen?
I have yet to get the Time War, or War Doctor sets yet, so I am becoming resistant to getting things just because they are on a 50% off sale.
Its a funny thing. As much as I was dissatisfied with the televised McCoy era, I gain a good deal of positive nostalgia listening to the Seventh Doctor and Ace on audio, as time seems to have stood still, yet the drama is so much more accomplished. Benny remains unexplored territory for me, however. No criticism though.

I like it you get the broad strokes of Benny, a good deal of Doctor and Ace action, and its a soft introduction to Irving Braxiatel .

Yeah, Braxiatel is great. Knowing him on audio is great. (Miles is wonderful in the role)
Now, I'm not sure if I'd like to be an actual friend of Brax though, you might like, stop existing or something at some point.

It annoys me that some of the books are still OOP and are expensive as hell on the web

That low? Nice for you! I guess that's why I'm normally a download customer ( I recently went over 1000 downloads in my BF account )
I just looked it up again, even before the shift in shipping charges, at the time, it was just under $48 USD, around 35 GBP at the time. Now, I did buy the bundle that included the Benny "Inside Story" book. (a great book, I might add)

It annoys me that some of the books are still OOP and are expensive as hell on the web If you really want them, you have to keep checking till you find a price you're willing to pay. That's how I got most of my out of print books. I went on price comparison sites on a regular basis till I found a price I thought was reasonable. Though in one case I swooped in and grabbed a copy of a book that I realized had just gone out of print before the price shot up. I had a confirmed order with BF for the book but realized I probably wasn't going to get it from them.

Am sure eventually they will rerelease them as there is a demand and I would rather BF got the money than some over priced second seller. Mind you I know the fun of finding something you really really want and also the opposite getting something you thought you really really wanted and then getting it and being disappointed(but thatās relationships for yo/u hahahaha)

Help please! I'm sort of working backwards with Benny - Unbounds (check), other box sets (part-check), oh yes and series 1 (check).
Which leaves the treasure-trove of single-release stories in series 2-11
Now I know I should do these properly and in order, but (oh my wallet) just for now with the sale on are there a few 'series 2-11 sampler highlights' that anyone could suggest please?
Stories which are A) extra-amazing and B) relatively standalone. Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Or if they are so interconnected that one must start at the beginning and work through, that would also be good to know!
