Lol well its a kind of trivial kind of thing though. To some people it may be. I like things to be right and if you can't get past the Introduction without spotting a mistake it affects your reliance on the other stuff. But, each to their own and all that ... I suppose though in this day of digital media that it is easily something that can be corrected before a reprint happened.

In the digital environment we live in now I'm surprised they haven't done an eBook of the companion actually. (Obviously I'd expect errors to be corrected if they did.) Or even an online version in the same format of the Companion volumes that's updated as releases are added, so we had a one-stop place to go to to look up stories when we're in the mood for checking things out...

I can suggest this.
I don't think 'live' updates would work, though, as that would diminish any potential future printed work. Just the existing versions is a good shout.

I think that there was a hell of a lot of nit picking towards vol1, sure some bits are not correct but so are most newspaper or magazine articals It’s ok and interesting read, if you find nicks hazey anicdotes interesting in the podcast randomoid section of the podcast interesting you will enjoy this. My biggest problem is the books are bloomin heavy and awkward to read Well excuses lol Heavy and Awkward to read...in what way awkward? I am used to reading on me iPad these days........everything feels bloomin heavy......lol

I remember Nick's shock when these errors started getting pointed out to him. "But it was meticulously researched" is what Nick would always say.

So apart from those things is it well laid out? It it seems was a massive undertaking anyway but this volume is far better than the Dark Tower compendium for Stephen King series.

It was attractive enough but like Stevo, if I don't trust the information in a reference book, then it is kind of useless to me.

You need to get on with vol 3, 4 & 5........lol but in all seriousness I loved the tomorrow people section in vol 2

It was a great piece to research, pulling together so much information together into one narrative piece. It felt like doing what I would do in my day job, and applying it to Big Finish.
