That's actually my standard look even when sober. And besides which I'm being adored by a Schnoodle so why shouldn't I be melting facially?

part of me wonders if this won't be set prior to The House Of Despair and be about what was going on in Windcliff prior to the setup seen in Kingdom of the Dead.

Windcliff certainly has seen many interesting visitors from the original series through to the audio dramas. I wonder which ones Big Finish will choose to cast (I'm loving the few snippets we have heard from actors no longer around- though can only imagine how challenging those can be to work in), recast, or reincarnate. Maybe it'll be a mix of Crimson Pearl and Beyond the Grave. Maybe it'll be something awesome I could never anticipate. I'll be happy to hear all about it when it's released.
Let's not forget that we have yet to have the official story where Maggie Evans goes from running the inn to running Windcliff or for that matter, we now know Jackie ends up working there. I'm sure Big Finish could make job applications and accreditation tests interesting, haha. I'm hearing in my head a cover letter framing narrative on her latest adventure with a typewriter clicking away and then a "they'll never believe this" and the sound of crumpling paper. A cover letter framing a thirteen part miniseries might be a bit much, but I figured some might enjoy my musing.

Anyone else notice there is now a Windcliff bundle? It has Clothes of Sand, The Ghost Watcher, and Echoes of Insanity. I'm surprised Dreaming of the Water isn't included, but Big Finish knows what they're doing. Perhaps this drama is set before or after Sebastian Shaw is there. It would be lovely to hear John Karlen again if he is feeling up for another recording (and of course KLS is always a treasure).

Sooooooo.... We can now say, after Big Finish Day, that Windcliff will take place in real time over one night... And now I’ve got your attention, I’ve got a new novel out. It’s a teenage / young adult horror story. It has tombs and giant worms and wolves and screaming. So your average Dark Shadows stuff really... The Breath Of Ages: Don’t Go Through the Park at Night... Paperback: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1730876781Kindle: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07K5YFQ44 /plug

Ahem... Did I just hear a plug...? Nope. No plugs here... Plugs mean leaks.

Wait...the only character I can remember being slightly obsessed with a Rubber Chicken was brown, fuzzy, used to wear a pie hat and tell terrible jokes to a frog and a pig. Is this your discreet way of telling us that in Windcliff we're about to get a Dark Shadows / Muppets crossover? 🤔😛
