Which range, while not having to be the best, is your reliable go to source for a smile. For me it is Torchwood, Ol Ol Sixie and River Song. Always an excellent experience and makes me grin from to ear to ear!

Iris Wildthyme - by a country mile. I adore it and she always makes me happy. Iris and Panda are maybe my fave BF double act.

Jago & Litefoot immediately sprang to mind. The redoubtable duo, Ellie, Quick and superlative supporting characters. Agree Jago & Litefoot

It's Iris and Panda for me. If I ever feel the world has bestowed "a punch up the hooter", then Iris offers a comfy sofa and a cheering glass of mental splishy-splashy, non-toxic and hangover-free!

Especially Series 2 with the parodies of the different Who eras. I can't listen to McGann's intro to the TVM without laughing now, thinking of Iris' parody of it.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Toby Hadoke's Who's Round is the ultimate feel-good range. I bloody loved it: it was a good natured history of the show which also gave you a history of British show biz during the 20th Century. Always a joy to listen to.

Count me as another dutiful worshipper at the Church of Henry Gordon Jago and George Litefoot. An hour in their company is enough to lighten my spirits enormously after I've had a **** day. After all, who would have thought "We killed the Doctor dead!" and "Jo is making a thing" would ever be replaced in my warbling off key affections by "I'm Ellie the Barmaid"? 😄
Oh.. And I'll also add a vote for the Short Trips range as well. Quick bites when I'm grabbing a quick bite..😉

The Avengers Lost Episodes; not because they are cheery and light hearted, but out of all the BF ranges these were the ones I was looking forward to the most. I used to save them for my summer holidays and I love it when the theme tune kicks-in.

Terrahawks is also a feel good range for me but since me and Kenny Smith seem to be the only forum members who ever talk about it, it doesn't get much love here. Zelda faking her death and singing My Way? GOLD.

BTW this is why I didn't opt to name those simply superb sleuths of the supernatural and sinister:
We were asked for our 'best feel good series'.
All of J&L's adventures which I've heard so far (series 1-4, 13-14, most of the single-disc ones) range from the amazingly excellent to the utterly brilliant, however they aren't all relaxing 'feel good' stories by any means.
Season 2 (for example) is amazingly dark in places and Season 13 too - and I love it when our delightful detecting duo demonstrate dashing Doctor-esque derring-do, defeating devilish duplicity and dastardly destruction! But those episodes are gripping and exciting rather than relaxing and 'feel good'.
So for an overall feel good time ("Wey hey, you saucy monkey!" "Oh give it a rest Iris!") across whole sets and series, it's Iris and her sardonic furry friend for me. With nibbles.
