This sounds amazing! Not just the Brigadier, but also Liz Shaw, Benton and Primords!

Really great news. I wonder why no Mike Yates?
Here's hoping we go on to get some season 7 stories.

I've got a feeling this means we'll be seeing a Sarah Jane recast within the next couple years and I'm not sure how I feel about that. However, such respectful casting of Liz and the Brig (how inspired is using Caroline John's daughter?) I think we're in for a wonderful treat. And if it means a slew of adventures between Inferno and Terror of the Autons even better.

Well, I think this is more than any of us dared hope for! (Only thing missing is Richard Franklin - sad he's absent from the line-up, but there's always Volume 6... ) Wasn't remotely expecting the Liz recast, but hearing that her daughter will be playing the role lets us know that the performance will definitely be done with the utmost respect to Caroline's original. And Jon Culshaw... I had to get my sister to play the trailer through her phone at the time, and both of us adored his performance. He's absolutely spot on as the Brig! A magnificent performance. I could actually visualise the entire scene as it played out. Beautiful. All I can say is this: why a May release date??? There's plenty of space available in March, dammit!!! (Oh, and one other thing: PLEEEEEAAAAAASE let Kate meet her father in The Legacy of Time, even if only briefly )

The only thing that could make this news better is if they announced the 3rd Doctor in the Main/Monthly Range.! ZOMG. that would be epic

Culshaw's Brigadier is incredible! Here's to (hopefully) many new stories with him!

The addition of Liz is surprised me, but Daisy Ashford playing her is a nice touch. John Culshaw’s performance as the Brig is good and respectful.
It’ll be interesting to see how this develops in the future. There’s the scope for further Liz adventures now, but will Big Finish go all out and present us with a completely recast set?

Not if John Levene is in it! (I assume you mean season 7 stories)

Getting excited by this - FWIW Id love to see a novel adaptations double bill with Scales of Injustice and its sequel Business Unusual. Never going to happen, I know, but just thought I'd mention it

Culshaw sounds fantastic as The Brigadier. I was dreading a recast, but he has it down for the era

Of course this is a must-buy for Tim, Katy and John, but to be honest I'm probably going to have to hear it entire before I really know what I think of the recasts, and I'll probably have to know that before I know what I think of the whole idea. No worries, though, I was much that way when Tim was cast as Three, which in hindsight was obviously genius.

The scene in the trailer is just too perfect. I feel like I could be listening to an audio recording of the TV series.

As a massive Season 7 fan, this surprises and delights me. Liz? Primords? The Brig?
Only downside: i want it NOW.
