Cheers Disney. Why don't these streaming services wake up! So many people now are going to watch this illegally. They are only damaging themselves with this delay.

It may well be that this Beluga was once held in captivity and trained to perform tricks like 'fetch'. Obviously we will never know for sure. But this video certainly shows the intelligence of these beautiful creatures..

A complete matter of First World Problems I know, but my watch broke and the cost to get it fixed from the manufacturer would be more than the cost of buying a second watch, so I've decided to invest in a different watch. This was a Fossil hybrid which was nice for what it was, but it only lasted like two years so I'd like to switch to a watch that's going to last longer than that. Maybe a Fitbit or an Apple Watch, probably around Christmas. Til then I've got to find a watch to use because I cannot live without one.

Had to go to the phone store to get a new phone because I didn't want the company to mail me a phone because I doubt it would ever reach me, but my support worker took me there and things got worked out so I have my own phone now before my ex has the old one turned off tomorrow, as if turning it off was going to help me find a new place to live.
Called up my old friend to give him my new number (not expecting my ex to help me keep the old number or anything else) and we had a nice chat for awhile. Some things are going better for him it sounds like and he got a major phone upgrade.
Also I did a little better today that my helper didn't have to grab me by the arm to keep me vertical, even for having more lung trouble since yesterday's floor sweeping stirred up the dust. I like the new worker, I think she's helped me get more done in six hours than I've been able to get done the last six months.
Not a bad day at all, plus maybe tomorrow I'll be able to hear an audiobook without the sound of saws and hammers drowning it out.

I've had today off from work to help run my hometown's firework celebration. How would I describe it, I hear you ask? A complete & utter s--tshow... Siiiiigh. 'Can expand/explain tomorrow, but at the moment I just want to 'wind down' for the night before getting up bright & early tomorrow to head into work... =_=
'Have just finished watching 'Paradise Towers' for the first time in (probably) s couple of years. Not the best McCoy story, but I still have a soft-spot for it and 'the sacrifice'...

Since it was one of these cold and grey autumn days, enjoyed a relaxing couch day with lots of nice audios. Listened to the latest episode of one of my favorite German series, then had a giggle or 10 with the hilarious Gnomes of Death (Scarifyers). That one never gets old. Then did some rewatch of some Orville episodes before getting bogged down watching A LOT of convention videos. Completely forgot time over it. Definitely suffering from Con withdrawal. One random thing did stick out for me in these videos. Paul McGann was asked about the best looking Doctor Who actors... interestingly, he considers Colin Baker as having been quite the looker back in the day and describes Colin‘s handsome appearance. And I have to say, he is not really wrong there, is he?

Every year, since 2007, a Canadian comedy troupe known as LoadingReadyRun have launched a week-long, non-stop livestream for Child's Play Charity called Desert Bus for Hope. They started off raising $22,000 for their first year and since then have raised over $4 million dollars across DBfH's lifetime. I caught a few hours while I was working. Fun as always and looks like they've raised over $197,000 in the first 38 hours. Neat. A nice reminder of the quiet empathy people are capable of.

Not Made My Day: I discovered Honey Mustard today. Thought it sounded novel, so poketed a sachet to try later. It exploded. Now the inside of my pocket is sticky and smells of honey.
Made My Day: I went on Splash Mountain in the evening. It was dark and it broke down half-way. Then the fireworks started to go off. We got to sit back for a while and enjoy them by the brier patch. Then when the ride came back on, we got a great view of the fireworks and Disney castle as we came up the summit, and plunged down. It was pretty sublime.

Made my day: Season 26 is finally up on Amazon Canada.
Not made my day: Release date March 24th
There is no reason that this can't be released at the same time as the UK version. All the delay does is anger fan over here.

My housemates and I have just been placed in an interesting, some might say awkward, situation. We have a lease with Real Estate A to rent the property we're currently living in. Today, a representative from Real Estate B came through our house to make a floor plan (a visit we were given less than 24 hours notice about, and even then it was a poorly written note that he was going to be coming at 11:30pm...). Several hours after the floor planner left, another representative of Real Estate B knocked on the door. I answered, and he told us that the owners of the property were getting ready to sell it and that there was already an interested buyer. Okay, fair enough. What he probably doesn't know is that there is a clause in our lease that actually prevents us from being kicked out of the property before the lease is expires, I think to myself (and our new lease started less than a fortnight ago!). Then he says, "The owner also owns the house next door too. We were wondering if you'd like to move in there for the same rent?" Apart from anything else, this is a man from Real Estate B. He doesn't have the authority to offer us next door at our current rate, as that house is also being leased to other people by Real Estate A (though the tenants may be moving out, we have no idea). We gave him a polite "We'll think about it" and sent him on his way. We then called Real Estate A to see if they knew anything about the property being sold and it was the first they'd heard about it too! So, basically, we can stay in the house we've currently got until this time next year as our lease guarantees we can stay here. At the end of that time we will have to move out though, as they wouldn't be offering us the other house now if the potential new owners didn't already have plans on moving in. We also *may* be allowed to move next door, but if we do it's not going to be a process Real Estate B has any say in, even if they're the ones who initially made the offer. Not only do they not have the right to offer leases on these houses, but they don't have the right to tell us we can change our address and keep the exact same lease (for so many reasons...)! If nothing else, I'm feeling a little concerned about where I'm going to be in a year. One of my housemates is keen to take next door if that does indeed become an option as it is bigger than our current house and, if we're actually offered it for the same rent as what we're paying now, would be really cheap for what it is. My other housemate doesn't seem very keen on the idea though, so the receptive one is going to have a word with her tonight and see if he might change her mind. I'm of the opinion that if we can move next door then we probably should, if only so we have the security of knowing that we'll still be able to live in this area beyond the end of next year. We're in possibly the location we could be (2 minute walk from the supermarket and a 10 minute walk from the university), so staying where we are now and not knowing whether we'll be able to find another house in this area (especially one that's affordable) by this time next year doesn't seem like a safe bet to me. Ultimately it's going to be their decision though, as I'm looking to move out on my own at some point in the not ridiculously far future anyway. (I've been trying to move out for over a year in fact, it's just impossible to find anywhere that's a) affordable; b) in the right area; and c) a place that will actually accept my application. As I don't have a car nor license, I really want to be able to get around on foot and save money on bus fares.) Today was supposed to be a nice, relaxing day. My brother was coming around and we were all going to watch the new Blu-Ray of The Three Doctors and just have a good time. Suffice it to say that this all really put a dampener on the mood. I'm just really glad our lease has the "no kicking out" clause, otherwise I think we'd be in real trouble...
