Possibly the least surprising announcement ever, after last week's news.

Bit overpriced if it's just three stories. I mean, it's four discs, 240', and a slipcover boxset. Could've been a double jewel case and £20, imo.

I've been hanging out for this series since the New Series license was announced! (Couldn't understand why they weren't a starting range at the time, but as time went on it became pretty clear why) A definite pre-order from me... but I'll wait until late May/early June for the bundle

I suspect BF think this range will be popular enough to justify the slightly higher price required for a slipcover with individual CD cases.

It feels like they should have been the first New Who thing on Big Finish as people loved them in 2011-2013 and wanted a spin off especially because both Torchwood and SJA had ended
I dunno how 4 years since they appeared will help but there’s a void left by Jago and Litefoot so I guess they need to plug it

This intelligence has been scanned, processed and deemed a worthy part of my plan for audio collection expansion. Conquest of my backlog is further delayed but remains inevitable! I will tactically surrender £94 to the glory of the Big Finish empire. CDs will be anticipated, intercepted at the letterbox and listened to without mercy. Sontar-ha! (Yippee! )

Bit overpriced if it's just three stories. And no saving if you buy the DL bundle(4 boxsets!!) You can save money with a bundle and order all four volumes at £94 on CD or £80 on download!!!!! This from BF On my ever expanding pre-order list though

Ouch, that’s a drastic price. Same as River Song with one less story. Still, I’ll be getting this as I love the trio.
I’m curious that it seems like they’ve got an actual series planned, similar in style to Torchwood.

So much for my theory that Big Finish were testing the waters for a Paternoster gang BOXSET with Neve and Catrin's appearance in the Eighth of March... 😂

Yeah the price is the only thing preventing me from jumping on this.

The price is the same as The War Doctor and less than The Tenth Doctor Adventures - and both of those have three episodes.
I expect BF views this as the kind of surefire hit that those are - given that this got a War Doc style four boxset announcement. But the higher price could also be indicative of a bigger cast than usual.
I also do hope that this will have some guest stars throughout (Classic Doctors, River, Jago and Litefoot characters like Ellie, Betterman, Jago himself...) - not necessarily at the same rate as River's series, but some connections to the universe around the Paternosters would be nice.

I suspect BF think this range will be popular enough to justify the slightly higher price required for a slipcover with individual CD cases. I suspect it's the other way round. If the costs are higher (e.g. a more expensive cast) then it may make marketing sense to put them out in individual cases so people feel they're getting more for their money (and with n'er a thought for my storage crisis - I'd pay more for a nice compact jewel case personally...)
