The BBC Red Button, successor to Ceefax, is apparently going to be abolished in BBC cuts. So, presumably no news, travel, lottery; additional sporting feeds; or more Paul McGann mini-adventures.

Every time over the last few years that I've checked Ceefax is been a lifeless shadow of it's glory years, not at all surprised it's finally being laid to rest.

I started watching but thought either his voice was off or the backing vocals were set to loud - spoiled my enjoyment a bit. Normal Service will now be resumed ... Cheers Tony |
