Both of these final episodes sound fantastic in my opinion! Some intriguing locations, new threats and (hopefully) some very high stakes...!

Depending on how It Takes You Away goes down, wonder how well Battle will do and if it enjoys one more finale boost that finishes us off into the low 8s. So long as it doesn't go into the 6s, we'll have achieved something pretty amazing, especially with the current TV landscape being what it is.

Ranskoor Av Kolos? Why that's clearly an anagram of.....nothing.
Chibnall's no JNT with these Radio Times listings!

Chibnall's such a master secret keeper.

'Taran' is in there. Clearly a reference to the return of the Wood Beast on his 40th anniversary. As if they would forget that!

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

"Something something ANORAKS"
Calling it: the voice is House...
... and this is his second story.
...I'll see myself out.

''I know that voice...'' Well, talk about a trailer perfect line.
Clearly, the answer is Anzor.

So is this the least anticipated Finale ever?
Unless there's some astonishing twist that turns the last nine episodes on their head, it's going to be just another episode. Heck, we even already know that everyone makes it to the Christmas, sorry, New Year's Special.

Heck, we even already know that everyone makes it to the Christmas, sorry, New Year's Special. I guess in terms of contemporary Who maybe as there is no story arc this time. But in terms of Who overall it is in keeping with the show which never used to rely on story arcs. I'm fine with it.

I’d argue there has been a story arc of sorts-The impact of Grace’s death. It’s referenced in Ghost Monument, Rosa, Archanids and It Takes You Away. Whether this will reach any kind of conclusion in the finale-who knows?

Heck, we even already know that everyone makes it to the Christmas, sorry, New Year's Special. Bit of an odd complaint. We all know the Doctor will make it through every story because name character: did that destroy the tension in the last 55 years?

Whether this will reach any kind of conclusion in the finale-who knows? Plus, I reckon the tooth fairies and their bed sheet allies have a come back, since they were referenced a couple of times. And it would fit the topic of a battle/ war.
Now seeing this in writing, it does indeed sound weird. But since I liked this weeks weird episode, bring on the weirdness!

Will we see the return of Tim Shaw and the guy from Rosa?

Will we see the return of Tim Shaw and the guy from Rosa? Yeah, an epic team up between the tooth fairy, the bed sheets and a homicidal racist... match made in heaven.

Hopefully they'll be fighting the Flatland monsters and the "Fear Her" scribbles.

It was Ok
Chibbs has basically "barrowed" from Pirate Planet and "Tim Shaw's" a far less interesting Captain
And I for one would've supported Grahame because you know it was going to happen, and would play out the way it did.
