If anything, I'll probably end up getting this just for more Jackie... Well, and for more parallel universe content - I absolutely love alternate universe material. I'm not sure whether this'll end up being a one-off or if we'll see this become an ongoing series - if it does, I certainly hope we bring in a few Unbound Doctors! Any excuse for more David Warner - though I'd REALLY like to see how Rose would hold up facing the Valeyard or David Collings' Unbound Doctor...
Anyways, as it is now, it's not an immediate preorder from me, but I'm keeping it on my list.

Just for once a major BF announcement where the description instantly makes me NOT want to buy it. Oh well, have fun Rose fans!

A dream come true! I bet it's partially inspired by the cancelled spin-off Rose Tyler: Earth Defence, even though RTD didn't have the idea of bringing Rose back as a guest companion. If this one turns out to be a success, I hope they'll do a Meta-Crisis/Rose boxset! 🤞

I’m not overwhelmingly invested in Rose as a character so I’m not immediately buying this.
That said it does sound quite unique. Character-focused drama on a romp through the dying Multiverse...

You know, now that you mention it, I actually do rather like Attack of the Cybermen ...

On reflection, it sounds a bit like Gallifrey IV

It's just filling gaps. Seems totally unnecessary.

Hmm. Interesting. Although I have to say I am not the biggest fan of Rose nor the RTD era, so this might not be my cup of tea.
But we do know BF will probably do something excellent with it I am sure they will. It is just not very high on my listening priority/ interest list...
Maybe some glowing reviews will convince me otherwise...

Why do these Big Finish press releases always make Russell T Davies sound like a guru they visit in the mountains. We sought out Russell and he enlighten us about a thing we were planning to do anyway.
The fabled hermit of Gallifrey🤪

I for one make no decisions in life before consulting Russell 😏

Poor Shaun Dingwall. Returns to the role with just an offhanded ‘by the way’ sentence in the press release But! This sounds interesting, I am intrigued! I’m behind on my Big Finish purchases due to other financial obligations so I won’t get to purchasing this one for a little bit, but I will definitely do so eventually!

I'm not a big Rose fan, and didn't think Billie was too adept at reprising the role for the 10DAs but I'm glad her large fanbase get this treat. I'll be getting it anyway, but it doesn't excite me quite like say Lucie's upcoming box does. However I LOVE this from the news piece:
"The series has its own distinct tone. Focusing on the era of Russell T Davies, there are no alien threats or villains to defeat. Instead these amazing stories capture and showcase the beautifully rich human characters of Doctor Who..."
I'm always advocating more character pieces, less rehashed adventures. The drama can be internal, too. That BF put this loud and proud on the news story makes me think it maybe will be more my thing than I expected.

This is good news for Rose fans but it's not my cup of tea. I do hope it does well though; as with Big Finish continuing to trawl through new series properties success of spin-offs like this means it can only be a matter of time before we get the Dalek Sec: Earth Attack box set or Rusty on the Rampage (Vol.1). So good luck to them.

Yeah, that was the part of the press release that really got my attention as well. I'd love to hear something more character and family driven that has a looming darkness to it. Plus Mark Benton as Clive!

I was expecting Earth Defence but this seems to be a more creative spin on the tale!
Makes sense considering we have Torchwood and UNIT

This box set strikes me as being completely unfair. I mean, how are supposed to NOT buy it?? I’ve already pre-ordered.
