You really captured the spirit of the 8th doctor, brought to life beautifully by Stephen Critchlow

A great addition to the growing list of Doctor Who Christmas stories. Fantastic work, Tony Jones! As the writer, when would you say this ST is set in the Eighth Doctor's life? Post Relative Dimensions, and before Dark Eyes though I didn't think it through beyond that And hey that's where I put it on my own - it's the last available gap with the long hair and the velvet coat, after all.

That was just lovely. I re-watched all of Harry's TV stories in one go yesterday, so I thought this would be appropriate listening today, and it's a beautiful addition to his story. There were a couple of moments where I was tearing up (especially when the Doctor offered him one more trip - I'm genuinely heartbroken he said no), and this, much like the other best entries in the Short Trips range, allows us to see what happened next for the more under-served companions on TV and provide the best possible explanation. I also appreciated the conversation towards the end when Harry's discussing how some of his discoveries have been turned into weapons (looking at you, The Zygon Inversion...); I think the way it was handled here was very well done. I'm not normally a 5/5 person, because there's usually *something* that wasn't quite there for me in most stories. When I give a 5/5, it means I think there was nothing that could have been done better with the story, and this is so absolutely deserving of a 5/5! Thank you for such a brilliant story, Tony Jones

Thank you for such a brilliant story, Tony Jones Thanks for that. I was very keen to give a different view on The Zygon Inversion as well as having fun with this story. It was fun to write though I could probably have squeezed in some more seasonal references if I'd tried harder!

Lovely story, and loved revisiting Harry's relationship with the Doctor. Quite an interesting premise, as well. Well done, Tony.
