Hello everyone! Here is Jago & Litefoot's Timeline attached to this thread. Please feel free to comment and discuss. Thanks. Tim. Hi Tim
David Richardson has previously stated that the 4DA appearances occur after the last Boxset EVER is released. I'd do the same for J&L and Strax but that's just me.

Okay. That's interesting. Thanks for letting me know. I'll amend for both 'The Justice of Jalxar' and 'J&L&Strax' in their timeline. Thanks. Tim.

I'd put "Jago & Litefoot and Strax" just after series 10 for now, actually. Especially given the speculation that the whole Paternoster Gang might appear in series 11. Unlike "Justice of Jalxar", it features the regular cast of J&L, like Ellie Higson and inspector Quick, so I'd put it around then, rather than years later.
"Mind Games" actually takes place during series 6, between "Return of the Repressed" and "Military Intelligence" (J&L mention having just met Freud, and Quick is still a Sgt.),
As for "Stage Fright", the placement is also incorrect, as the end of series 9 leads directly into the beginning of series 10. I'm not sure where to put it, though - maybe within series 10? Or also directly after it, like J&L&S?

Also, Litefoot appears (without Jago) in the 8th Doctor novel "The Bodysnatchers", which takes place in 1894.

I'm not so familiar with J&L as you seem to be, so it's good you got insight knowledge on this. I've re-placed 'J&L&S' after Series 10 as you suggest and placed 'Mind Games' between 'Repressed' and 'Military Intelligence' in series 6. I've also placed 'Stage Fright' after 'Series 10' and before 'J&L&S'. I've placed 'Bodysnatchers' sometime after 'J&L' and before 'Justice of Jaxlar' since the book was released first before 'Jaxlar'. Thanks again for your helpful comments. Tim.

Tim,
Very nicely done!
Only suggestion I would make is that the Doctor only becomes a major part in series 4. Leave series 3 as four stories as per the box set.
Stan
3. Jago & Litefoot (Series 3)
11. Dead Men’s Tales (J&L) (Audio) 12. The Man at the End of the Garden (J&L) (Audio) 13. Swan Song (J&L) (Audio) 14. Chronoclasm (J&L) (Audio)
4. Jago & Litefoot with the Sixth Doctor (Series 4)
15. Jago in Love (J&L) (Audio) 16. Beautiful Things (J&L) (Audio) 17. The Lonely Clock (J&L) (Audio
4. Sixth Doctor with Jago & Litefoot (Series 4)

I'll separate the Series 3 and Series 4 stories as you suggest.
This is really from Jago & Litefoot's point of view so I'll keep the Series 4 and the two 'Doctor Who' stories with J&L in one place as opposed to dividing it up into two.
Thanks for this. Tim.

Hello everyone! I've now updated Jago & Litefoot's timeline thread by having it as a page view instead of a PDF view for users to see. Enjoy! Tim.

So how about?
Encore of the Scorchies Stage Fright The Backwards Men - Scorchies is a standalone story
Series 12 The Haunting Series 13 - no cliff hanger between those series

Jago and Jitefoot's encounter with the Carrionites described in 'The Carrionite Curse' occurs in 1899. Same year as 'Justice Of Jaxlar' according to Tardis Wiki.

Jago and Jitefoot's encounter with the Carrionites described in 'The Carrionite Curse' occurs in 1899. Same year as 'Justice Of Jaxlar' according to Tardis Wiki. I'm not sure what the evidence is for the Carrionite encounter occurring in 1899 (or at any other time) but I think there may be a case for suggesting that 'Justice of Jalxar' occurs a little bit later than that. Two things: firstly the blurb says 'It is the dawn of a new century' but 1899 is the dusk of an old one - if the blurb is right, it's 1901 or later. Secondly in the dialogue J&L mention it being 10 years since first meeting the (fourth) Doctor. So when was Talons? Well... Just for the record, the Jago and Litefoot stories are based on the assumption that Talons of Weng Chiang is set in 1892 (based, I believe, on a magazine that Litefoot is seen reading). Their adventures are gradually moving forward from there, and as of Series 11 have reached 1895. I don't think the date is ever mentioned out loud, but the writers bear it in mind when referencing real-world events. So if the BF writers are correct, 10 years after Talons would be 1902. Which still seems quite reasonable to describe as 'the dawn of a new century'.

I'll just repeat what David Richardson said years ago "Any 4DA or special release with J&L in it (apart from the 2 Voyages) would chronology occur After the last ever boxset.
The additional releases could be possibly be placed in BF release order but that was up to the listeners".

So either that takes place between episodes 2 & 4 of series 6, or Quick gets demoted!

Not sure about the moving the Voyages stories around (discussed upthread) but last time I listened through, I came up with:
1892: River Song: The Talents of Greel Doctor Who: The Talons of Weng-Chiang Doctor Who: The Mahogany Murderers J&L: Series 1 J&L: Series 2 (summer through autumn) J&L: Series 3 (autumn through roughly December or early 1893)
1893: J&L: Series 4 (April)
Voyages: Doctor Who: Voyage to Venus (distant future) Doctor Who: Voyage to the New World (1968) J&L: Series 5 (1968)
1894: J&L: Series 6 (Parts 1 & 2) Worlds of Doctor Who: Mind Games J&L: Series 6 (Parts 3 & 4) J&L: Series 7 (December)
1895: J&L: Series 8
1896: J&L: Series 9
1897: J&L: Series 10 Doctor Who: Stage Fright Jago & Litefoot & Strax
1898: J&L: Series 11
1899: J&L: Series 12
1900: Doctor Who: The Jago & Litefoot Revival
1901: J&L: Series 13
1902: Doctor Who: The Justice of Jalxar Doctor Who: The Beast of Kravenos (Unproduced J&L: Series 14)
Jago & Litefoot: Forever (31 Dec 1902 - 1 Jan 1903)
Bear in mind that I came up with this several years ago and can't remember how I reasoned any of it out.

Didn't Series 13 end on a cliff-hanger that Series 14 would've carried on from? Regards mark687 IIRC yes, which presumably would put S14 either in 1901 or at the start of 1902. But as it didn't end up 'happening in canon' I decided to just throw it at the bottom as a curiosity.
