So what's for dinner? MMMM...MMMM... Dinner time, got a side of honey glazed ham, a loaded baked tater, loaded with butter, sour cream, and chives, and a big ole glass of sweat tea. And homemade brownies are in the stove, load them down with vanilla ice cream, and it's gonna be a nice dinner.

I will just have the tater but hold off on the chives....yuck onion grass blarrr That was always my favorite part, my mom eats all the green onion, but she douses it in salt, and I never did eat much salt, but I always enjoyed the chives.

Dry cooked-style pork intestines Never had dry cooked style pork intestines. But, I do love me some chitlins. Corse almost everything in the south is deep fried in lard anyway, so we don't get much dry cooked style. That's why when I go to the doctor and he tells me "your cholesterol says you should have been dead 3 weeks now." and I say, "you should look at my blood pressure." I will look for some dry cooked style next time I go to the Chinese place round here, always lookin to try new foods.

It was breakfast night. Buttermilk Biscuits n gravy(for the eating impaired, you half the biscuit lay each end down, douse it with sausage gravy, then add a little brown sugar syrup over it, and homemade apple butter with every mouthful.) Sausage, bacon(Smithfield only), scrambled eggs, grits, and mater(tomato). Wash it down with a big glass of chocolate milk. I went easy tonight, I only had 5 biscuits...

Could be "sauteed pork intestine with hot pepper" or some such description. It isn't common in the states, though, or at least in the north. Quite a lot of people will eat a hot dog or sausage but somehow be squeamish about the idea of intestine-in-general.
