You know, now that you mention it, I actually do rather like Attack of the Cybermen ...

Interesting read, if that is an example of a 'pitch' to BF I may whack a few in!

I think I prefer the first version but I'd loved to have heard either of them. Thanks to Jonathan Morris for sharing his outlines with us and Digi for spotting them.
It's set me thinking of all the other J&L storylines which must have been considered and replaced by a later story over the course of 13 full volumes. Wouldn't it be fabulous one day to have a special Short Trips audio collection: 'Jago & Litefoot: The Untold Adventures'? (Like all those Holmes stories we know Dr. Watson had locked up in a bank vault.)
Perhaps on quiet evenings at the New Regency, the inimitable impresario put his feet up and told some of those tales into the wax phonograph we know he had at one time? The cylinders might still exist in some dusty vault, just waiting to be played...
Likewise, I'm sure Ellie told a tale or two after closing time at the Red Tavern and Inspector Quick's notebooks must be worth a read...

Odd this was rejected. Sound design and music could have been fun.
Instead of “oh lummy”, Jago cries out, “oh mummy!”
‘Year of the Bat’ was when Mr. Morris went too far with the ‘timey-wimey’ stuff. After listening to the first twelve sets, series ten is the one that I actually did not like.

I'd be up for hearing those! Maybe in a similar format to the upcoming Dorian Gray: The Lost Confessions with the scripts adapted into prose. That would definitely compliment the idea of these being Jago's One-Man (or two person, if Ellie were to be involved as well) performances acted out at the New Regency. Or phonograph recordings of the New Regency performances, which was something established in The Worlds of Doctor Who release. If we were to get a release like the aforementioned Lost Confessions, it would also be a great opportunity to hear the stories initially planned for Season 14 in some form. As well as any other J&L scripts lying around the production office.

The more I think about this, the more I think it would be a most wonderful way for the range to respectfully continue, and it doesn't really strike me as being that different from some of the other things that Big Finish have already done, such as various Chronicles or the Dark Shadows story collections.

It is very good of Mr Morris to share these synopsis, his blog is always a good read.
Again it shows how many more stories there could be told with Jago and Litefoot.
Of the two I think I would have preferred the revised submission, because I like the villainess! However I am surprised that her main motivation isn’t to discover the transference ability, so that she could inhabit a younger body!

I like the title “Untold Adventures” with the double meaning of previously missing and numerous! A short trip or short companion chronicle style collection would be very welcome especially if they annually collected four of them together into a two disc set as a companion piece to the thirteen series. The Jago & Litefoot series of boxsets was always moving forward, so it would be nice to now dip into their past. As well as stories told by Jago, Ellie and Quick, looking through the back catalogue you could have missing adventures narrated by friends, associates and even stories from a villain’s perspective. Series 1 - Doctor Sacker Now here’s a little story for you laddie. Pour us both a drink and I’ll tell yer a yarn. Series 2 - Gabriel Sanders Where there other Litefoot and Sanders cases? Series 3 - Leela With or without the time compass I am sure she got mixed up in other adventures with Jago & Litefoot. Series 4 - Claudius Dark A reverse companion chronicle has been talked about in the past. The Doctor has kept a watchful eye on them. Series 5 - The Sixties Sacker Jago & Litefoot left the swinging sixties far too soon, perhaps they had other adventures there between the ones we have heard. Series 6 - The Colonel I would like to hear more from Geoffrey Whitehead. He might not have spied on them himself, but I am sure he had agents in the field. Series 7 - Doctor Arthur Conan Doyle I like the idea of the Sherlock Holmes creator narrating a Jago & Litefoot unopened casebook. Series 8 - Patsy! I think she would have to be paired with someone like Inspector Quick. On her own she might be a bit much. Series 9 - The purser Aubrey on the Fata Morgana They must have visited some other places on their voyage. Series 10 - Carruthers Summerton As their greatest admirer and would be biographer he would have many a tale to tell Series 11 - Jean Bazemore I would need to check, but didn’t Litefoot go to one of her overseas archaeological dig sites? Series 12 - Mr Ravener The villains get all the best voices! Mr Ravener has been watching them from the shadows for some time. Series 13 - Dr Luke Betterman Although I would rather he recount stories from the main reality. Just idle daydreaming on a Sunday morning, but I do miss Jago & Litefoot.

Perhaps at a respectful distance in the future we will be so lucky to hear more from the world of Jago & Litefoot in Chronicle/Short Trip form. (For this year I'm looking forward to Jago & River!)

I am finally getting around to read the current Vortex, starting with the Editorial as you should.
Kenny was listing all the many ranges that Big Finish produce, with all the titles coming one after the other.
I read the following and had to stop and re-read it again before realising my mistake.
Jago & Litefoot; The Lost Stories
I wonder if he knew what effect the listing of those two separate ranges next to each other would cause...and how good they look together!?
