One thing I do like that’s coincided with the website redesign is the QR codes on the Big Finish adverts in DWM. I reckon that’ll get a few extra sales in from impulse buys. Possibly. It'd be interesting to know. I got into Big Finish due to picking up a couple of freebies. A friend on a different forum used to talk about BF incessantly and that never got me - till I picked up the freebies. From there it was sales, and from there...down the rabbit hole.

Anyone know where The Fifth Doctor box set is on the new website or app, I've been looking for mine and it isn't there.
I have a horrible feeling I bought this off eBay so only had the CD copy. I've since sold it on eBay which means no more Iterations of I. 😭

I still can't work out the order of releases, the way they have set it up. I tend to go to Wiki for information.

I wish the "You've Got This" stickers would show up on the wishlist so I know what to delete without double-checking my orders page, but it's wonderful just having the wishlist to help keep track of future purchases. I do visit the Big Finish site much less than I used to, I used to go there to browse for ideas of what to listen to next or look at ranges I haven't explored yet, but now mainly just to download new releases or look at the credits for things I'm listening to. I agree that it's a mixed bag of plusses and minutes.

so 6 months down the line, how do people feel about the BF website? I find that I look less at the new website than I did at the old, but also that it has improved my experience using it predominantly on my mobile/cell rather than desktop. I like the You’ve Got This stickers. I like the Search facility. I dislike having to scroll through my account releases to see way back in the past - I used to click on page 18 (say) to get back to 2012 (say). Perhaps a Filter by Year option would be welcome. On the whole I think it’s an improvement overall, but it’s also a mixed bag of plusses and minuses. This

I still hate the way they do the news.......the weekly thing sucks and is the change of logo each week is pointless (is this the best use of resources........)
If it wasn’t for you guys I would miss all the new releases.......
Rest of site is ok, but like many updates, some things better somethings much worse.........and I really wish they would get designed by users and not programmers as often basic useful full things get hidden or lost .......
Just look at how terrible the new google image search thing is now........and don’t get me started on apple

On a totally unrelated issue we are getting some IT stuff done at work and this is exactly the problem. In my experience programmers always do what they want to do, not what the user wants. Tails wagging dogs, etc ...

I like the 'You've got this' sticker appearing in most places, especially on 'the 'What's New' pages, very useful because that's how I do most ordering and making sure I've not missed a pre-order. I like the hyperlinked names of actors, writers, etc. to easily find what else they've done and I like the way the 'collections' are available from the text dropdown.
But I really really dislike the scroll-pause-scroll-pause- which makes viewing large ranges very annoying/nearly impossible! I do miss the ease of scanning the MR/CC/4DA/8DA etc. ranges with images, summaries, etc. all presented for each story. And I wish the ranges still had filters for Doctor/Companion because I found those useful.

One thing I was quite impressed with was the cross-referencing from the filters. I typed in 'Foxon' (a la Steve Foxon) and all 157 releases popped up in which he was involved in the music/sound design.
Then the scrolling started!

+ I think the search function is greatly improved. + I like that "You've Got This" appears in more places than it used to, though I preferred the green bar to the sticker - Endless scrolling instead of pages. Blech! - More difficult to find sales and news. - Dislike the bland, mobile friendly aesthetic.
Net result: I spend much less time on the site than I once did.

I wish the wishlist feature listed the items in release order, or at least gave the option to. I tend to add releases to the wishlist if they’re something I’ll be getting, as an easy way to pre-order nearer the time or when payday comes around.
I’ve just noticed it as I added Missy Series 2 to the list, ready to put my order in as part of June’s pay.
