"However, we do strongly advise all our customers to ensure that you have downloaded all the content from our website which you have purchased and retain back-up copies locally in order to safeguard against future disappointment / loss of access eg in the event that BFP rights expire, and we can no longer offer the files here."
This a a bit of a "yikes" notification on the My Account page. Don't companies usually get to offer the files to folks who've already purchased, even if they lose the ability to sell new copies? I know Dark Horse did with their Star Wars titles, and I thought BF generally did with their old ranges, too.

My content is showing fine on the BF app. See I can get everything I’ve already downloaded to my phone but I can’t access the purchased page.

Currently they do (example Highlander), I just think they're covering their bases in a case a time comes they can't, disconcerting to see it I agree.

Big Finish probably don't want to be viewed as cloud storage for people's purchases indefinitely; so buy them, download them, then back them up. People expecting their downloads to be held forever by Big Finish is unrealistic. Licences do - and will - change over time. They're your purchases so best practice is to save them at your end... just in case.

The only thing worse than titles loading in groups of nine while you desperately scroll down is doing that, and then realizing at the bottom that you were in Eighth Doctor Adventures and not Eighth Doctor Collected, but because Time War and Ravenous were in it you hadn't realized.
edit: also I'm getting not-infrequent loading errors where the page suddenly goes white and I have to refresh it. Infuriating when you're several "page" scrolls down at the time.

Login Your E-mail Address and your password you use for Big Finish Regards mark687 Except I had never (or in ages and ages) used my email address as a login to the Big Finish site. So, chrome didn't remember it. Luckily I did find the password reset email and I am back in business. Still a bit disconcerting for a while.

No idea whether it is related or not, but when I went to save my extended extras of Kamelion Empire, my Explorer window became hosed. I can't see any writing for any files. Guess I need to reboot my laptop.
Edit: After rebooting all was normal and I was able to get the Short Trip as usual as well.

I'm really going to miss the old site. I think I might be much less shocked right now if the background had at least stayed black. Believe it or not, I even miss the sprawling ranges page - it was a lot like being a kid in a massive candy store.
If I liked changes, I probably wouldn't be clamoring for more audios with K-9. Relative to Teatime 1976, this is some serious future shock. (If you think I'm bad, some people are still listening to this stuff on CD...) ;-)
I probably need a button that says, "Can't cope with changes? Click here to view the old site".
Oh, no... I just noticed the site's using my first name and last initial, how very Happiness Patrol and not in a good way.
I'm sure I'll find some more things to grumble about if you give me an hour. I probably shouldn't complain, I'm pretty happy to think that the site is actually working, that's a definite plus.

I for one love the new scrolling system - much better than the old one, where you have to load a page again if you wanted to go back to the previous one. This way, once you've reached the last release, you have everything at your disposal, instead of having to search page by page, which can be tiresome with ranges like the monthlies.
And regarding the range overhaul, I'm sure that just needs some getting used to, it has nothing to do with the new design and it's not like they've never done before in the old website.

I’m also having iPhone issues with the app - says I have not purchased any content and then when I try to log out brings up a spinning wheel saying Loading Purchases

mine comes to 107 pages starting in June 2014 as I started to grab up some of the first 50 before the went OOP (first batch-the One Doctor, Spare Parts, The Church and the Crown, Jubilee, Omega, Davros, Master and Zagreus I had already purchased Colditz, the Holy Terror, Eye of the Scorpion and some later releases from Forbidden planet (although it includes some cancelled mid-order as I was fiddling with the payment - removing them reduces it to 105 pages) Out of curiosity, I decided to check how much I have spent on the site in just under 5 years
... £10,455.61
(which, of course, does not include the money I spent on Big Finish products elsewhere)
How did you get that? Can you get totals or did you add up yourself manually? I’m curious Or am I?? I may be sick!

Just looked through. Everything looks just fine and dandy on the download front. That said...
It's too scrolley and I don't like that there isn't a "not downloaded" option anymore. Also, news not front and center is somewhat annoying.

People expecting their downloads to be held forever by Big Finish is unrealistic. Licences do - and will - change over time. They're your purchases so best practice is to save them at your end... just in case. See, this is what I expect from BF, same as I do for audible and other audios I buy. Maybe I’m naive, but I don’t use a pc anymore, and working with files on a hard drive to load on and off a phone with iTunes is a massive nightmare. The app keeps me sane. Frankly if it weren’t for the app, I wouldn’t still purchase in the manner I do. Not a BF issue to be sure, but how else do y’all handle download purchases? My Mac is horribly slow, and I would never buy a new laptop solely to store these. I can get all my computing needs accomplished via an iPad and phone. Anyone else have a solution that works? I do worry that if BF shuts its doors I’m out all these audios, although I rarely relisten to these, yet I don’t want to lose anything. But honestly a way to dump these to a different cloud storage via an an iPhone or iPad is the problem. Apologies if this is off topic.

Also, news not front and center is somewhat annoying. Yeah, same reaction here. I saw it and immediately thought "I don't like it".... But yes, at least all my purchases are still there. Sadly without the "not downloaded" tab.
