My wife spends a lot of time checking out Avengers/Supernatural etc meme's online (LOL)
That "America's Ass" had her in hysterics- coz she is a believer that Bucky and Cap are a couple HAHA. It's all in the movies . Like Stiles and Derek in "Teen Wolf" and Dean and Cass in "Supernatural" MAHA
That was definitely "fan service" that scene and line, coz there so many memes about "Cap's perfect butt"
HAHA

I thought the slyest gag was Cap's "Hail Hydra" in the elevator to avoid the repeat in Winter Soldier.

Plus where oh where is Lady Sif? The Loki that escaped New York in 2012 turned her into the Sudden Pegasus that Valkyrie was riding. He has experience with that sort of thing.

Just...wow. I went in with zero spoilers and it's tough to think of anything that I didn't enjoy about this movie (which is a first for me in a long time). So many great surprises... {Spoiler} Seeing "smart Hulk" realized so beautifully onscreen had me grinning so hard that my face hurt. ;-)
Props to the prop department for taking Wong's throwaway line from Infinity War (and Banner's reaction) and having the Hulk tuck into a giant container of Ben and Jerry's Hulka Hulka Burnin' Fudge. :-)
And some great comic book references:
Sam Wilson is Captain America! Looking forward to seeing how this plays out in the new Disney show with Winter Soldier
The Thanos armor scarecrow
Captain Marvel's haircut (I may have been swooning a bit)

Man I really hope it dethrones that Avatar crapfest.
EDIT: Perhaps I should rephrase that. I feel like Avatar, while visually stunning, was just a boring, boring movie that did little else than crib the plots of Pocahontas and Fern Gully. It irritates that it continues to hold the highest-grossing-ever film title, and I'd really like something worthy, like Endgame, to take the spot.

What an amazing movie. I really think it was the ultimate culmination of every single movie. I'll have to do a full marathon once this releases for home media. Just overall, amazing. I don't think I've seen as amazing a scene as that final battle. I do wonder how the timeline changes with Thanos from 20-whatever dying though.

Bits and pieces.... BannerHulk was hilarious. The selfie bit might've gone on for a beat or two longer than I'd have liked, but the absurdity of a big green Mark Ruffalo is just too funny not to enjoy.
Thanks for that bit of comment. I've not seen it and not sure if I will, but if I do it is only because of the Jolly Green Dude.

For the 'prime' timeline of our Avengers in 2023, it doesn’t. For the divergent-2014 timeline....probably quite a lot.

Loki's escape in 2012 - Minor changes 2014 - Holy crap the universe wont know what to do with itself Steve and Peggy from 1945 - Even bigger, possibly the best universe out there

That's the only explanation I can think of to explain how the elderly version of him got back to 2023 without using the time machine. It's also suggestive that the Russos (or at least Kevin Feige) had this planned way back when they did their first MCU movie, Winter Soldier, in 2014, and there was that video recording of Peggy talking about a husband but not naming who it is.

I'd heard that as well. And it could be true, would just create some ickiness between him and Sharon in Civil War. Either way Bucky knew what he was going to do

I'd heard that as well. And it could be true, would just create some ickiness between him and Sharon in Civil War. Either way Bucky knew what he was going to do I was thinking about that and...maybe not? I know there was the "Aunt Peggy" thing from Sharon's eulogy at her funeral in Civil War, but we know from the movies that Steve has no siblings, and from Agent Carter (the show, not the One-Shot) that Peggy's only brother died in the war. So there is no way that Sharon could be Peggy's/Steve's niece, either biologically or adoptive. Meaning it could only really have been a friendly name, like how one of my good friends is trying to get his kid to call me Uncle Rob. It still poses the issue of how young Sharon could've been so friendly with Peggy but never met her husband, but at least the incestuous-ick is off the table!
