With the talk about Carry On Doctor Who, it reminds me that I am waiting for an announcement of more Comic Strip stories.
Although not bulging with innuendo, the Fourth Doctor stories were broader in comedy than usual.
So if the next set featured a shape changer penguin, the pretty Peri Brown and the Sixth Doctor having to play a less chivalrous role, I could see the opportunity for more of a right old carry on!
However I am not sure Doctor Who would be the right place for such comedy.
A much finer property for Big Finish to get their hands on would be Glynis Barber portraying Jane again for some audio comic strip misadventures!

A Torchwood two hander with Owen and Tosh. Considering how they touched on their relationship with one another (or definite lack there of) in ‘Believe’ I’m sure Big Finish could craft an interesting tale featuring these two.

I'd really like some more Mickey, preferably some stories set between The Girl in the Fireplace and Rise of the Cybermen/Age of Steel, because it was a shame for them to have him join as a companion before getting rid of him a couple of episodes later.
Now that Freema's joined the BF family, I'd love for a Jack/Martha audio too, because I liked the friendship that developed between the two of them. (I was wondering if there was any scope for Ten/Martha/Jack stories after resetting The Year That Never Was and before dropping Jack off, but I'm not so sure they could squeeze anything in there since it seems directly after they defeat the Master.)
Another TARDIS team I wouldn't mind getting more from is Nine/Rose/Jack, but that's unlikely to happen outside of possible Short Trips or Doctor Chronicles unfortunately...

Very unlikely considering his current retirement, but it would be nice to see Lee Evans reprise his role as Malcolm in a UNIT boxset. If only for one brief appearance in one episode. Would be interesting to see how he interacts with the likes of Osgood.

I really thought they were setting up a recurring character, like they eventually did with Osgood.

I'd have loved to see that too but Lee's never been that kind of performer who would do recurring work. He did a stand up tour every 3 years or so before retiring young, and despite some really good reviews never seemed to want to act full time, just for a while and even then he's not acted since that guest shot on Who 11 years ago. He had a sitcom for one series and cancelled it himself as he hated not having total control, feeling his fame was being used to sell subpar comedy wheras on stage it was all his work. A shame as he was FANTASTIC in a film called Funny Bones, a really odd dark comedy with Jerry Lewis of all people, not a pair you'd imagine together. Not many give up the fame game in their 40s but he was really very well off after his UK arena tours for the 90s and 2000s and sold many, many videos and DVDs of the shows, so he didn't need the money. Something quite refreshing about someone just saying they've done it, been a success and spending their days with their family when he could keep taking the paychecks for loads of things.

Wow. .I never realized that he was that big a name over there. I've never heard of him over here. Yeah, until a few years ago he had the two highest grossing comedy tours ever in the UK, grossing tens of millions and 2 of the top selling DVDs in the country, in an era where DVD sales were many times what they are now. Quite insanely popular at one point - though given his retirement there's now I guess a whole generation of millenials much less likely to know him much at all. He also protected his comedy a lot by not doing much TV and the panel show circuit, giving it away free. Oddly, It was another Who guest star who broke Lee's records for stand up, Peter Kay (Absorbaloff from Love & Monsters) who now has the biggest comedy tour not just in the UK but in the world ever, playing to over 1.2 million paying customers in his Manchester residency back in 2011, which no-one has come near since. Lee did have a couple of things that were reasonable successes in the US I think - Mouse Hunt with Nathan Lane was a decent hit in 97, and There's Something About Mary the next year. I said above he oddly co-starred with Jerry Lewis....one of his last films was The Medallion where he was co-lead with Jackie Chan. Not many people get to co-star with Jerry Lewis and Jackie Chan!

We would need to wait several years for this but after last night’s episode I would love if further down the line we had a big finish box set where 13 takes Tesla on as a companion! They are such kindred spirits and imagine Tesla visiting the future or meeting other past scientists or helping defeat Daleks!😃

All the incarnations of the Eleven (or rather the Collective) to be revealed and portrayed individually.
I’m most curious to know what the One would be like. From what we know, he was clearly a wrong ‘un even back then but I somehow doubt his condition would become obvious until his next incarnation. I’m imagining a Two-Face situation as a obvious comparison for the Two.

When I mentioned the character in the General Big Finish section, asking what all the incarnations were and hoping that we will see the earlier incarnations in the future I used the term The Numbered, so just wondered if Big Finish had stated. Regardless of what the noun is I would very much like to hear more from the character.

I’m sure I heard the term The Collective get thrown about somewhere but I couldn’t tell you where from. Either way, I concur.

I think someone suggested the Collective, and one of the writers (maybe John Dorney?) said they liked it, but it’s not official.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

We would need to wait until Capaldi agrees to do big finish for this but I would love an adventure for 12 that pays tribute to his movie Lair of the White Worm! This would be far reaching but amazing, if as a special one off companion Hugh Grant could reunite with Peter and play a character very similar to his foppish Lord character in “Lair”, then they could fight alien snake vampires together but instead of using bagpipes to fend them off 12 uses his electric guitar 🎸😄 but he would still need to somehow end up wearing a kilt like his character Angus!😉 It’s obvious that the Ruth!Doctor belongs to a universe where The Daleks renounced violence because of the sacrifices made by the Doctor. She clearly knows so much about Gloucester Cathedral because she has bribed the architect.

Been saying this for a while now but I’d like to see a recast for Dodo. If only to have some adventures with her and Steven and hopefully allow her some chance for character development.
