Another thing I have been waiting for- the story of Liv being badass on Kaldor for a year. I am afraid that we might lose her in the upcoming Ravenous (at least what the writers keep teasing) and she really should go out with a bang and have her several hours of glory. Liv is awesome. They have to do this at some point...right? It's weird that they would insert that gap there if there were no plans to explain what went on, because it certainly seemed like she was fleeing when they picked her up again. (Perhaps this will be followed-up/flashed-back to in one of the Ravenous 4 stories?) I’d like them to base a Diary of River Song Volume around it.

Broadly speaking, I'm a little tired of the River sets always being about how she has to cross paths with everyone, and would like to see her get more standalone sets. But a River/Liv set that's a tie-in/quasi-sequel to their existing relationship from DC/Ravenous? I think that's a great idea.

The things I am waiting for Big Finish to resolve are the cliffhanger at the end of The Well Mannered War and to explain why the Doctor starts to put Question Marks on his clothing.
It has been suggested that the Tardis team end up in the Land of Fiction. If they do I would love a Wonderland style adventure if for no other reason than the imagery of the Doctor as the Mad Hatter, Romana as Alice and K9 as a human/dog hybrid called Elton [L10]. Questions in Wonderland.

It would be brilliant.
Maybe my ultimate fan dream.
What I think is going to happen.... Liv might die in Ravenous 4. There will be much upset and tears and petitions to BF- and they will announce the Kaldor box-set as a reaction and to satisfy all the Liv fans... after all, she really should go out with a bang and at least a 3 hour special. At a guess it might come out next year, when all the anniversary excitement has died down a bit.

Hello again.
Also waiting for the paperback editions of the Saward Dalek stories next year to finally complete my Target book collection. Oh hang on, are The Pirate Planet and City of Death in paperback yet? Then I can read the whole Classic tv series run. Yippee!

Hello again.
Cheers for the information Mark687. It is a shame that they have decided not to let the paperback versions match the other Target books. Part of their charm is the covers and the Pirate Planet one is dreadful!
I used to love the Chris Achilleos, Andrew Skilleter and Alistair Pearson covers. The books were often better than the tv series. Eric Saward's version of The Twin Dilemma is hilarious.

The books were often better than the tv series. Eric Saward's version of The Twin Dilemma is hilarious. The Chris Achilleos 'Target' covers are superb, I don't think they've ever been bettered - in my nostalgic opinion of course! But for me they evoke the mid 70s and the excitement of getting my hands on another 'Doctor Who' story in the only form we could. Many with my Third Doctor, but this was also how I discovered the world of the earlier Doctors.
I'm currently enjoying a listen-through of the 'Monsters Collection' bundle (Audible) and very pleased the audiobooks kept the original covers for 'The Cybermen', 'The Abominable Snowmen' and 'The Ice Warriors'. Sadly on some others (like those in the 'Master' bundle) they went with later covers and for me they just don't measure up. Fortunately I've still got my paperback originals for 'The Sea Devils', 'The Daemons' etc. with more of his amazing artwork!

A volume of Tenth Doctor and Martha stories...please? Yes. I liked Martha a lot but she was ill-served by bad characterisation.

I, for one, would love to see Eighth Doctor Main Range stories again at some point - even one offs like Company of Friends, or a standalone trilogy like the Mary Shelley stories. Actually, a sequel trilogy with more Mary would be fantastic, because I rather heretically think Mary is THE best companion for the Eighth Doctor. I'd also like to have some more "event" stories in the Main Range - mainly because I prefer the episodic format to the boxset one. Things like maybe a sly two Doctor story like Project: Lazarus, or even a cool crossover with another BF range at some point (much like the upcoming Cicero story). Maybe a Sixie/Vienna meeting, or Paternoster/McGann.
