Mark Gatiss, not Sam Kisgart? After 16 years, Mark felt it was time to come clean... {Spoiler} It was Mark all along! Sam Kisgart was actually Mark Gatiss? THE WHOLE TIME? My God. My entire reality has been knocked off kilter. Next you'll be telling me that Robert Galbraith is J K Rowling...😋

Consider me intrigued...very, very intrigued. Which means that I better pull my finger out and pick up The Master of Callous and Rage of the Time Lords pretty damn quickly. Even more intriguingly, if Sam Kisgart has now 'retired', is it a possible that the Master Mr Gatiss will be playing will NOT be the 'Unbound' version?

I’m wondering; since this set will somehow involve the multiverse with the Unbound Master in the mix, whether this will tie-in with the War Master’s appearance in Cyber-Reality. Or perhaps tying this and the new Benny sets together?

I had no plans of pre-ordering this before today. And then this announcement hit. Wow. Instant pre-order, this sounds awesome.
Just a bit disappointed it is Mark Gatiss and not the amazing Sam Kisgart playing the second Master... however, as we learned on the extras to the second Benny Unbound set, Sam Kisgart never really was into Doctor who and only ever watched one episode featuring "Doctor Spock" so he might have lost interest in coming back. Shame, really.

A really striking cover. Confirmation of our speculation that the Master would be going back to the Genesis of the Daleks. Of course there’s a suitable Time War slant with two eras of Daleks!
I’m not familiar with the Gatiss Master, but looking forward to hearing more.

I’m not familiar with the Gatiss Master, but looking forward to hearing more. He is a Great Master go check him out in the Bernice Unbound really. I agree its a very Malevolent feel to the Cover...could this be the sneaky Davros tale i wonder.I think i would buy it for the cover alone. Now I have to wonder is Warner Post Time War or PRE

Also, could this be setting up somehow the Dalek Empire Time War range I wonder?

It’s looking like A NOT SO Merry Christmas lol And suddenly I am really looking forward to December...
I think this will be great. The only way they could make it even greater would be if they added Davros to the mix...
But I could understand them holding Davros back for the great showdown between him and Lord Eternal Rassilon. Just imagine the glorious shouting match.

Could this possibly confirm that Davros will be making an appearance in the last Time War boxset?

Well it was the Time lords who did declare war on the Daleks with their genesis Shenanigans-perhaps The master goes back in time to prevent Bakers intrusion into events. I mean they would just have remained ignorant wheelchairs for a dying race if they hadn’t gained all that fore knowledge wouldnt they? Its Interesting he holds the weapon in his hands.

I have only listened to the first two. Loved the first one. Hated the second one.

That’s a lie and you both know it. Just because Kisgart has been banned from the United Kingdom on grounds of treason, leading mass protests against charges of treason, training poodles to sing La Marseilles and owning too many spatulas doesn’t mean Gatiss can steal his career.

While I'm disappointed that it seems that every master but MacQueen is getting airtime, I'm delighted that Gatiss is returning to the role.
I also hope that there are many more War Master sets and appearances to come.
