I don't actually have any news although I think one of the last things I saw posted in the old forum stated (unofficially?) that the green light had been given for another Bloodlust type of project.
Next year marks the 50th anniversary of Dark Shadows, though, and I'm hoping there may be some wonderful things in the making that are probably worth speculating and wishing about, hence I thought it might be appropriate to start a thread for people's hopes and expectation for the coming year of Dark Shadows.
I can't actually think of what to hope for myself since I think a lot of what I was hoping for came true in 2015, but I can hardly wait for more Dark Shadows news!

- Victoria Winters. Burke appeared in ...and Red all Over, and that had a few mentions of Vicki. Her return would utterly thrill Carolyn.
- More Quentin and Lela.
- Tom's development, how he, Amy and Harry have been dealing with his advanced physical and mental growth. Maybe give him a love interest, and at least let him eat more than bacon and french toast. He'll get pudgy!
- More Carolyn and Sabrina. Carolyn could also get a love interest as well. The overall plotline could link back into the Son of the Dark Lord arc with Sabrina and Cyrus.
- Let Maggie have her happy ending. She's finally put Collinsport behind her, and has had enough terror and trauma for several lifetimes!

I'm going to take it as a given that Big Finish are going to be announcing a fourth series of Dark Shadows: Full-Cast Series. Most likely with the 13 episode format used for Bloodlust, as that was proven popular amongst established Dark Shadows fans, and helped bring new listeners into Dark Shadows. Joe Lidster's comments at the recent Big Finish Day, and the positive responses provided by Jason Haigh-Ellery regarding the future of Dark Shadows, has pretty much confirmed to me that there will be more of the series at a later date. However, it does make me curious whether Big Finish will continue the Dramatic Readings range next year or not. Dark Shadows is a range that is commissioned on a year-by-year basis, and I wonder if they would think it would be worth maintaining the dramatic readings considering how popular the full-casts have now proven, which I imagine must be an expensive and more time consuming production, without having to sustain the dramatic readings at the same time. This speculation is also prompted by the fact that Joe and Davy were talking about using the last few batches of dramatic readings to wrap up some of the remaining storylines that were left over from the range, such as: The Devil Cat, Deliver Us From Evil, etc. So this is making me think that they want to conclude the storylines of the dramatic readings, so they don't have any loose ends left behind for when they end the range. Even the last story of the most recent batch, ...And Red All Over, feels like an appropriate bookend to the range, being the 50th release and featuring Maggie and Burke as the only two characters from the first episode of the original series.
But then again, I could be completely wrong. But if that is the case, I can spot one storyline that has yet to receive its conclusion. That is Quentin's Wilderness Years storyline. It was established back in Operation Victor that Quentin was looking for a Dr Subotsky in an attempt to cure him of his curse, but as far as I'm aware, that hasn't been addressed since then. Pus, we haven't heard what became of Sally Green from that story as well, which seemed like it was going to lead somewhere. Furthermore, Jan Chappell's Dorcas Hanley is still remaining from The Darkest Shadow, but I thought she'd turn up for a rematch with Quentin. I was hoping these remaining plot threads would be resolved in Panic, but apparently not. I hope they are resolved at some point, as I myself don't like loose ends.

They opened up a whole number of storylines with the recent dramatic readings. Sabrina and Cyrus's current situation, Lela arriving at Collinwood to be with Quentin (anyone taking bets on how long she lasts?), Amy and David's relationship, Harry and Cody's relationship, Tom's development, Burke and Vicki (next year is going to be the 50th anniversary). There's even potential for storylines involving Julia and a cure for Barnabas, the return of Angelique. John Karlen could come back as Willie. How about a reunion between Amy, Sabrina and Carolyn? It's about a year since Bloodlust, surely something's stirring the waters afresh.
And the stories aren't restricted to 1984/85 anymore. There could be more set in the past. Nancy and John could reprise Leticia and Desmond together. Another story with Arthur Darvill's Tad Collins. Matthew Waterhouse can play another branch of the Cunningham family tree.

It's the beauty of the Big Finish take on Dark Shadows. They have created their own continuity while staying within established continuity. It is quite a trick. More Dark Shaows and soon please.

But he gets a good workout every month, that'll take care of that.

I just reread that - while having a trawl through the archives. And for a moment wondered why Cody and Harry were only... working out... once a month. Then my brain caught up that I'd been talking about Tom's time of the month.

The mentions of them in the post-Bloodlust audios seem to suggest that Harry and Cody are a fairly active couple, at least enough to be the amused talk of the town. It's a fairly progressive town in an isolated part of America with female sheriffs and gay couples, and I love it just the same.
