A wonderful event so far, the lovely in-betweens, great exclusives and Sean Carlsen does a great Tom Baker

Hello again.
Highlights for me, the Seventh Doctor's jacket running off to the jungle and Lisa Bowerman's wonderfully sozzled Bernice.
Also the Jackie Tyler/Captain Jack story. Lovely! Some super dialogue and banter performed with their customary brilliance by Camille Coduri and John Barrowman.
One interesting thing I spotted as an example of how often writers have the same ideas and jokes. When Jackie laughs at the aliens being called the Harvesters due to the pub chain of the same name.
From my 2016 entry for the Paul Spragg Memorial Short Trip competition entitled The Harvesters:
"What are you doing?" The Doctor looked up from his computer. "Looking for Harvesters," he answered the watching girl. "There's one of those in town, sir." "No! That's not it. Should you even be talking to me? Stranger, danger and all that." "My mum said I should distract you while she phones the pol...whoops", she put a hand to her mouth." The girl waved as the Doctor put his hat on, scooped up his mini-computer and walked away. She shrugged and went in. Her mother described the Doctor's distinctive appearance with her daughter chipping in details. "Don't forget his question mark brolly," she reminded her mum.
It was weird hearing Jack talking about a completely different set of alien nasties with the same name. Loved the story, more Jackie Tyler please.

Just listening to the trailer for the next Bernice Summerfield boxset- this sounds VERY fun. Really looking froward to it!
Haha, the Doctor as Benny's assistant, no wonder it is Benny holding the screwdriver on the cover.

That was rather a nice event. Happy birthday BF. Thanks Kenny Smith for being a great host/moderator for the event.

I lurked but it was fun. Regards mark687 Because of the time difference & work I played a lot of catch-up but it was nice getting to some stories I've not heard for some time and settling in for a listen.

I wonder how successful it was. It was a nice idea, but I didn't have so many hours available to listen to excerpts of episodes I'd already heard. Would have liked to hear the comments between episodes, or whatever they did, but I also didn't want to scroll through trying to find where those were.

I'm so glad that I heard the entirety of Legacy of Time before checking in, because the final story was plagued by trolls in the chat who decided to deliberately (and repeatedly!) spoil "Lies in Ruins" while it was playing as well as reveal surprise moments for the rest of the set. I will never understand why some people feel the need to do that sort of thing.

I dropped in at various points over the weekend, and there always seemed to be at least one or two people there turning the conversation sour. It was a bit sad to watch, to be honest.

I dropped in at various points over the weekend, and there always seemed to be at least one or two people there turning the conversation sour. It was a bit sad to watch, to be honest. I tend to switch chat off towards the latter end of streams for that reason. There's-- --which always raises a smile (I still need to get it on a shirt) and then there's... *waves hand* other stuff. As a behaviour, it's so... boring. No one remembers anything, except for the perpetrator being "that guy". I know a streamer who has a pretty great remedy for when the chat gets rowdy during his playthroughs. He disengages and plays Choo Choo Train over the stream, in silence, until everyone's cooled down. On the whole though, I found it rather fun. The surface landing in Spare Parts feels even creepier now during the Apollo anniversary and I didn't notice the reference to Charles Darwin in The Marian Conspiracy until just then. I didn't quite make it to the end, I wanted to avoid Legacy of Time spoilers, but was there a credit for whoever did the console rooms? Sterling job there.

Anybody notice that both YouTube live streams have now been removed?

Wish I could read the whole thing!

It would be good if archived copies of the 2 days were available for those who missed it
