Just thought I'd come right out and say it, now that Legacy of Time has finally dropped - Happy 20th Anniversary to all at Big Finish. Thanks for all the magic.
(And in another 3 years time, they'll beat the BBC's record of producing brand new Doctor Who every year.)

Sounds dumb, and I could do a great big long monograph on it, but (and if any BF writers see this then truly believe it)....BF has saved me. What BF has done for my life in the last 4ish years since I started Blood of the Daleks on my 19th Birthday on holidays, walking along the beach has been astronomical. It's inspired me, it's caused many friendships to form, and most importantly I've had so much fun. It's inspired me to check out shows and movies I'd never have done so before, it's inspired my imagination. It's just...it's staved off depression, and it's made me happy. So, Happy Birthday Big Finish! (I mean I know it was actually last year and this is just the Doctor Who side of things, but still).

I am going to join everybody else- Life can indeed be a female canine sometimes. Thank you Big Finish for making life a little bit more bearable. Thanks to the familiar voices in the audio, stories can calm me down or even make it easier to sleep when things are tough. Thank you for the great stories, the laughs, the tears and always the prospect of being able to look forward to something. Thank you for fostering a great online community with which to share the joy. I hope you guys are going to stay just a few more years longer, come what may on the political/ economic front.

You never quite forget your first Monan Host time vessel materialising... The Apocalypse Element. Sixie, Daleks, Romana, dear Evelyn, it's been a hell of a ride. If not for a chance mention of Etra Prime in the 2006 Annual I would not be here, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Big Finish have inspired wonderful stories, wonderful creatives and wonderful communities from all over. Many happy returns and all the best for the 20th.

Happy birthday BF!
Surely it's cosmic destiny that you share a birthday with the Apollo 11 mission and their 50th is your 20th.
From the moment of launch you have taken fans to worlds and realities possible and impossible, scattered across Space and Time. And those stories you love all leave footprints in our memories - some as unforgettable as the first view of Earthrise over the Moon, some as light and delightful as the first golf ball played across the lunar sands.
Wishing you many more decades making giant audio leaps for fankind!

Twenty years of producing new 'Classic' Doctor Who. Congratulations Big Finish! I don't know if it's childhood nostalgia or intense curiosity or something in that old UNIT series that I bought in the summer of 2014 that sparked my interest, but five years, six hundred and ninety three downloads and an insane amount of money later I'm still here and still listening. So Happy Anniversary...and thank you.

It's odd to think that Doctor Who was off air for 10 years before BF started which seemed an awfully long time. Now, BF have run twice as long and going back 10 years now, the comparable amount of time without the guys playing the roles, in 2009 we got Series 3 of the 8DAs, Companion Chronicles like Benny & The Criminal Code or Prisoner Of Peladon, the Lost Stories launching, McGann meeting Susan for the subscriber special Earthly Child and Main Range stories like the Graceless trilogy, the Stockbridge Saga and Company Of Friends. None of that seems that that old to me. Time really is relative.

Happy Birthday Big Finish! My love for 'Doctor Who' has been embraced thanks to listening to all your audio dramas which started with 'Circular Time' back in 2008. I'll be sharing a 'Celebrating 20 Years of 'Doctor Who' @ Big Finish' post on 'Bradley's Basement' tomorrow afternoon. Stay tuned! Tim.

Hello again.
Well Happy 20th Birthday Big Finish. Such a huge catalogue of brilliant stories with something for everyone.
More stories and better stories for the eighties Doctors. Bringing old favourite companions back to tell new stories in the Companion Chronicles.
There are so many highlights in the huge variety of stories that the production team, writers, actors, sound designers and musicians have brought to life.
Here’s to many more...

Happy 20 years of Doctor Who @ Big Finish... bet nobody ever saw that milestone ahead of them back in 1999 when The Sirens of Time came out!

Amazing that BF have hit this milestone. The releases, especially in the early days, showed why Doctor Who is such a great concept. Without BF, we would have a fondly remembered, but defunct, TV programme. The success of the early years led the BBC to take a greater interest in Doctor Who and I would argue, led Russell T Davies, to use the first 50 or so MR stories as his template for the revived series (The Forge - Torchwood; The Time War - The Apocalypse Element, Jubilee - Dalek, Spare Parts - Rise of the Cybermen).
Bravo!
