Wasn't there already a thread for this?
Okay. There wasn't a specific one, but we'd been discussing all the BBC audiobook originals in the Winged Coven thread. Should these be merged and the title of that thread changed to reflect that? How do you summon mods? XD

A merged BBC Audiobook Originals thread is a good idea, especially since that's what the Winged Coven thread was becoming. Either that or consistently keeping discussion about each release to its own thread, but I'm not sure there's enough interest/discussion in the individual releases for that to work.

They've been out for quite a while. BBC Audio has been doing it's own Who stories for years, notably the Nest Cottage stories with Tom but even going back to things like the Short Trips and TV Movie reading which brought McGann back to Who before Big Finish did. Some of the BBC originals like Dead Air, read by David Tennant, have been great. The BBCs own Who stories on audio aren't always great but I still think they're a bit underrated by BF fans. They often do themtatically linked ones like the "....Of War" ones you posted. Some mini-ranges like the "Winter" series of Capaldi-era stories were really good.

Listened to this today. Excellent, atmospheric story by Andy Lane & wonderfully read by Dan Starkey. He does a rather good McGann.
One of the best BBC audio originals yet. Thoroughly recommended

Is it like companion Chronicles? No, 3rd party narration. More like the Dr Chronicles, except only one voice
